If a indoor track tightens up and is very technical , it can work to eliminate understeer. But , if you have any sort of speed , its a handful

I haven't driven 4 wheel drive mod since the original zx5-fs before the big bores came out. It's a handful already.

I actually dont run the roll bars on my car at all. Calmed it down quite a bit and is a little more consistant for me to drive without them.

I didnt wanna run wire over the chassis stiffener or else it would of been much cleaner and easier of a job. Wish the rsx had larger solder post holes. 14g wire barely fits in the slot.
I also run no sway bars and like it but our med to high traction track gets pretty rutted up

The track I practice at is medium to high bite once it dries out a bit and is relatively smooth. I will try one run with them on, and one with them off.

I should have used a little longer motor wires, the brace is a pita to get out. One big thing is the extra sensor wire port on the Orion esc's, you can tidy up your wiring and not have to take it all apart to hook up a programming box unlike the one port esc's. Makes life so much easier, and the performance of Orion esc's is excellent too.

Man I wanna try these ball diffs something fierce . If I were to but just one where should I run it. Or is it mandatory to run them both together ? Anyone have and info in the ball diffs? Like how much better there buggy was?

You so know how to fix that. Tin the wire, pinch it flat with pliers, slide it in the slot. I use the flat non-serrated part of the pliers so the soldered end is smooth.

Just was thinking. Since it cost so much money to buy things from dealers these days... Would it not be smarter for myself to open up an on-line only shop that deals with Xray parts and charge appropriate shipping. Hell, I spent $6.95 shipping for a set of rear arms when it could have been sent out USPS first class mail and cost me $2.95.... whadda yall think?

I hear yea but none of my lhs or tracks carry anything xray at all. Any spares i have all came from online retailers, i get small parts lots all the time that the vendor just tosses in some big box and over pays in shipping cost, a bubble envelope would suffice, considered letter mail sometimes

This isn't always an option. We have one of the absolute largest hobby shops int he nation and the owner decided to stock RTR parts and such and no longer stocks parts for the kit cars. No shock or tranny oils, no arms, race tires, nothing. Having 2excellent tracks near by meant they had a ton of foot traffic for spares as well as new kits all the time, but the owner decided that supporting Traxxas and the like was the way to go. Even still, to have immediate parts support you had to run AE or TLR because all other brand parts and kits had to be special ordered which meant readily available parts for my 4.2 but my 410, 1-2 weeks if the distributer got around to sending out the order in a timely fashion. It took nearly 3 weeks to get a Kuhler body for my 410.

LHS need to do their part as well. It's not fair to put it all on us.

So i have a revtec 8.5 in my car and its a beast, just bought a SP 6.5 v3 (price was right) think its worth using or stick with the 8.5 especially seeing as this car is relatively new to me? 8.5 geared 23 81 was keeping up on the strąight with my buds gen2 6.5 lol
