Not sure how they would fit... But the new HotBodies D413 uses 12mm hubs on the front. (they are also able to use a 9.5mm hex that is included in the kit also so the b44 guys can switch and not worry about pitching good tires because of the new kit.)
The hex has a 5mm inside diameter, and is designed to ride on the inner race of the bearing. Just thought I'd share if it can help~ http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/112744 |

Who needs a gear diff ?
Sounds like a expensive mistake to me..:ha: As for me, I have been running them for two weeks now and with some oil tuning I've got them where I like them. I need to go back and forth to really tell the difference but off the bat running them is no different than ball diffs except the peace of mind that I'll never blow up a rear ring gear again. There is definitely more punch available with the gear diffs but I like to tune it out with the slipper anyways, that's just my preference. The gear diffs combined with the aluminum chassis has not really made my car quicker but easier to drive more consistantly. |
Got to drive a Schelle alloy tonight..
Compared to my 44.1 it had way less steering. Actually it needed more steering. Taught me just how much more aggressive the 44.1 is in comparison . So ? I'm doing the front shocks all over again..o man.. Have 1.6 x2 ,37.5w , Ae blue spring. Going to 1.5 x3 piston & same oil Also will try a step stiffer front spring. No intentions to be negative about the alloy chassis.. Just how things were at the track tonight. |

George, you're a hoot. You claim that what the AE team drivers are using is the best and none of them are using the RPM arms so they must be garbage. And yet, everyone of them has the gear diffs. So... ?
Like now your the hoot about what Ae drivers use ? ... |

Easy buddy.. Much like yourself, there is no shortage of team drivers in my area. All of them are running them. Plus anyone can see by the plethora of pictures of Cav's, Mayfield's and Hartson's cars over the last year that the Durango outdrives are visible. |

When Hartson, Tanner, ECT were here at Trcr ? They all were using ball diff's & if I posted what they said after I asked about them using RPM ? Oman ....you would be so disappointed.. Why don't you quote just one Ae driver endorsing RPM arms for everyone's benefit if you believe in the product so much. |
An AE driver not running a product does not make that product a bad product by default. Maybe some do, maybe none of them do. Maybe some run them when at a rough outdoor track and AE hard at a perfect indoor track.
Maybe they dont talk about it and it cant be quoted. And some of the drivers that have ran Durango diffs have also ran ball diffs as that was the better choice at the given track that they were at. So gear diffs are best for everyone when pros are using them and the next week at a different track running balls so now balls are best for everyone. .. no. |
I was never a part of the RPM debate. I have no experience with them nor have "anyone" around my area used them. I was just making a remark on how you contradict yourself sometimes and I thought it was funny. Really wasn't trying to provoke anything. Drivers are going to use what works for them. Some like things a certain way and then others don't. Matter of preference. But cracking skulls because of an opinion does not help anyone.

You seem only interested in my opinion's.. So ? All good with that. and try not to be so wishy washie about your assumptions about what Ae drivers use and recommend |

Not in a hurry to give up the ball diff's or the slipper just yet. |
The solution to this is to not give a crap about what some team driver uses and learn how to think for yourself as you should be doing. A team driver is just another person with an rc car.
