yes both sides same bar, use the newer bar links as they have a improved fit.

Expect less or smoother off power steer & a little more on power steer.

Can also try same above with Ae red front & green rear.

MY ride was just a little pushy with that combo.

On lower traction may perform well ...

Thanx WC. I have the red front spring in my cart already was just waiting to add more stuff before I paid shipping. Guess I'll click check out now before too many other items sneak into the cart :)

I have a B44.2 coming. What are the common mods to the car if any that should be done. What pistons in the shocks are a common starting point?

Can
start with it out of the box or rather the set up in the instructions.

Good place to begin learning about and gaining experience with.

Let us know where you race or the track conditions for best advise.:)

Thanks Wc I think it may be related to PAC and tires it jumped ok the worst was turn in gas it it pushed brakes it pushed roll and the rear come around and fast but I could save it most of the time I ran same lap times as my sc10ft but it tq and got 1st is the main

You ran the your first race with the buggy the other night right? If so first thing I would suggest is putting the stock setup on the buggy. It's generally a good starting point to tune from on most tracks. Ride height, camber and toe settings. Not sure what point your shocks are on the tower. Not posted.

Other then that it sounds like the rear end gets loose on braking, if I read that correct.? A softer spring and oil on the rear should help that.

Also not sure about the effect of the "modified shorty" sounds like maybe too much weight on the one side of the buggy. Pics?

Kyosho flex spring

It is 50 : 50 side to side and front to rear
It was the first time at Rchq with the buggy but I ran it in the track beside my house and it was ok the springs are Balanced front and rear as to The forum tuning with camber links but PAC is a little more it the rear I don't know if I need the sway bar

What are some good ways to make it more responsive

Even with balanced spring rates, you can not run the same piston front and rear and expect to get the same amount of pack. The motion ratio is very different front to rear. The front will have less pack. Everyone runs thicker oil in front to compensate but it doesn't work well. It's such a commonly accepted mistake that even the pros do it. If you want your pack balanced you'll need to run much smaller total hole area in front and then run thinner oil in front. This will need to be changed if you move lower shock mount holes. Then again you can't keep the same springs in that case either and expect good results. Again, nearly everyone gets this wrong. See my signature for an explanation. Once this is all balanced you merely adjust camber links for steering. If you can't get what you want this way then add a sway bar. Remember a sway bar decreases traction (generally but there are always exceptions) at the end that it's on which means a rear bar increases steering and a front bar takes it away.

Thanks Fred I will have to mod the pistons to make it happen how far off is the b44
