Damn, that's even worse than mine. Had to laugh at the plastic chassis comment. Maybe that is the problem. Chassis is really some type of aluminum/plastic alloy...

I'll probably run the truck for another ~6 months and then will switch. Certainly will not be a Durango vehicle!

This is what I mean about not being able to speak to a proper Durango rep. Hobbico may want to help, but they rarely have the knowledge base scince they deal with so many different brands.

Been looking through the thread and am seeing some opportunities with the chassis and the spur.......

I would be very interested in the one that is being made of going to be when it's ready.

Also the spur.......is the spur for the rc8t a direct fit to the diff cup or is it the entire diff from the rc8t??

It's not here yet so looking at some build tips as well and Thank you for all advice

Tekin 2000 truggy motor. It's a beast. I have mine turned down to 88% epa on a big track.

Hobbywing Xerun SCT-Pro 120a ESC all the way. Been running mine in the DEX408T since I built it back in Nov.

i have not looked but are the spurs back ordered? i have a ton of them. one of the guys i raced with was stripping his out left and right so i picked up a couple extra but never had an issue.

Also, i would buy a couple of servo saver shafts and nuts since they tend to come stripped or strip easily!! on that topic also get the metal steering plate.

If anyone is still looking for rear drive shafts, copy & paste this into the search bar on ebay.

TDRC3096 Team Durango TD310372 Mid Driveshaft Clip 178mm (1) DEX408T

I think it'll take you to it.

That is the mid driveshaft and not the one that there is none around of. Read this thread closer.

Talked to mike again at hobbico and he said to email a pic of the chassis and the original receipt to hobbico. Did that last thursday night and friday morning had an email replay from kimberly R at hobbico. She said she got the pic of the receipt but not the chassis so I was instructed to resend the chassis pic and a shipping adresss. Sent that around 10am here in PA friday morning, and havent heard back yet. Ill let you all know what happens. Im gonna call and ask for kimberly on monday.

Default DEX 408t

I built my dex408T there a few months and I have not used yet. Reading all the problems of this truggy, I think I may sell it and buy a good as TLR or Mugen??

The chassis is too thin. That of DNX408T is thicker. They only elongate the back of the frame of the buggy. That's the problem.

I have not read all the pages of this thread. So do you have any problems with the ESC as the bodie is so thin that if the truggy turns upside ESC absorbs the blow. Have you tried to put another brand bodie stronger as the LRT 2.0? Another suggestion about this problem?
