Orion 2ktc. The most important upgrade is the rear suspension hangers. Also go to the 1st page of this thread and all the info u need is right there. Carbon fiber shock towers are just bling. Money would be better spent on tires and track time. You will love this car its definitly quality components, fit and finish. As far as building it. Just take your time and pay attention to everything inthe manual and to the fit and free movement of all assembled parts. There is nothing that you should need to jam together it all fits together nice and smooth like every other kyosho kit. Any questions feel free to pm me or ask here theres always someone willing to help out

Yeah, I've read the front page, I was just seeing if opinions have changed. Yeah, the CF towers are just bling, but I like the look of it.

Any more opinions are welcome, thanks to all who have replied.

Yes they do. I am currently running the AE tapered pistons 1.3's with 32.5 up front and 30wt in the rear.

Ran my car for first time ran good I would of had a good fight for first if
I didn't get caught up, with a lapper but that's racing. I let my buddy drive car he really liked it (he runs dex210) he ended up hitting a pole though and snapped my rear shock tower so while waiting to make a order I'm curious if someone could give me a good suspension setup, (pistons, oils) my car felt maybe to soft and sounded like chassis slapping a little on are big double-triple I was down siding the jump also so not like I was slamming the flat ground.

Anyone had the front camber link just pop off while going around track on a brand new car? I replaced cup and ball stud too. It only does it at bulkhead. Nothing goofy, only 1 mm of shim at tower and carrier

I ran a lot of exotek parts on my b4 and bought a lot of them for my rb-6,I am not a fan of the steering rack. The rack binds in two ways.

1- if you use the kit 1mm spacer under bell cranks its too tight
2- if you tighten the screws that hold bell crank to arm fully it binds. If you loosen them so its free, even with red lock tight it falls out

Any weakn points on je the rb6? I have seen steering rack and rear camber block breakage but it could of been a fluke.

That's about it, maybe the rear hubs too.

I recently changed my Rb back to rear motor because I plan to run at an outdoor track, was running RM with narrow hangers first, then MM which is only wide blocks, this time tried wide block RM, and the car was really good, I beat my best lap by .3ths and finally got a 18 lap run in, and won the 17.5 race.

Hey guys I'm stuck with control front tires (Rips green) and it hooks pretty bad on exit and randomly I'm running the Japan setup, shorty middle, AE32.5, 27.5, pink and reds. She's perfect with groovy and it's the first time I'm running with rips. Anyway, I'm thinking of some slight changes: shorty back and/or 30 caster to tame the steering. BTW track is low traction loamy.

Any advice? Cheers!

Try the 30 caster and/or narrow the rear end
