I have been looking for those RB5 arms. Looks like everyone is out of stock on them. Anyone know who has them?

One more thing Im really confused about wheels for the RB6. Are the wheels for the RB5 and RB6 the same? I see AKA wheels listed as for AE,losi, and Kyo.

rb5/rb6 use same wheels
aka wheels require serrated nuts if you going down that path

I got my Mip goodies today. The swing shafts have thicker pins in them, and corresponding grooves in outdrives are bigger as well. Should fix the issues. Also the nuts for the axles are metric m4 nylocks as well. Will update on the diff once I finish it tonight. They were nice enough to include grease as well!

I found some on ebay last night. I think the guy had 6 sets.

Yep I will check wear after next weeks race/practice day. The outdrives and all feel a tad bit heavier than the kyosho ones, will weigh them at home side by side with stock diff.

how many people have actually broken a axle? ive ran kyosho for 3 years(zx5,rb5,scr) and only broke one axle and that was on a scr when i landed sideways on the rear wheel, and i dont have much wear on swingshafts after a whole season, what am i missing?

Not sure.. but I go through swingshaft pins and out-drives like nobodies business.

ya....my outdrives are THRASHED ...new outdrives and B-fast kit going in before another lap is made!

Dunno about scr and all, but both my rb5 and rb6 outdrives and pins wear out faster than my 1/8 scale buggies which develop way more traction.

wow thats interesting, you guys run mostly indoors dont ya? i really only run outdoors, everynow and then may hit a indoor track, wonder if thats the difference?

Crazy amounts of grip indoors would be one. I pull wheelies on the back straights even with a shorty all the way forwards.

i think a outdrive with replaceable inserts would be nice, maybe slide in, held with a set screw, made from delrin, something like that

Or the xray way. Make the outdrive out of unobtanium and make the pins with butter metal so they wear out and can be cheaply replaced. I think kyosho makes both with same hardness/wear material so both things wear out.
