If you mean for the front, if it doesn't decrease ride height that it means it doesn't stop the chassis from hitting the ground over a big jump, thus defeating the purpose of a skid plate.
If you want to put such a plate on, I suspect it would be only used to add weight at a low center of gravity point.

Well crap...I ended up stripping one of the small gears that are in the diff case. Anyone else have that problem? What would cause that?

Almost finished with my kit. It seems a lot heavyer than my SC10 2wd. Is a castel 1410 3800kv going to be enough motor? It was a really fast motor in the SC10.

Does the Gear Diff from a 22RTR work in the 22sct?

I used a touch of 50w, slipper was backed off 1/2 turn from being fully tightend, Motor is a velenion 3500. Care seems like it has decent power but could use a little more punch, no dirt, possibly overtighted the case though.

Direct fit. Loosen the slipper it will save your trans internals. I personally dont like setting my slipper by holding the tire and stabing the throttel and tring to make the front end come up. I prefer putting the truck on the surface that your running on and have it slip a foot or 2 before it hooks.
