It's a direct bolt-on for the rear, if you want to run one on the front you will need to adapt it like Nismomike did in this thread.

This is second one this year! Although the first had about 9 million laps on it before it went!!! I think I need to take shims out of spider gears and hopefully that will let them drop in further but not to far !!! New housing and new rebuild kit wanted to start fresh and it's been a pita!!!

How different do your truck feel and perform with the gear diff instead of the ball?

I foresee A LOT of FT SC10's going up for sale soon. I'm keeping mine for sure but may pick up the new flavor of the week anyhow.

Good chance to get some cheap rollers.

Supply and demand will be great, too much supply and not enough demand!

I took it a step further and recessed the ballstud mounting surfaces 1/32" below flush (about 1 washer's worth). It raised the roll center (a topic which gets complicated pretty fast) and increases the camber gain with suspension compression (i.e. when the truck leans in the corners). For me this has resulted in higher cornering speeds on the medium to low grip track I usually race at.

I'm apparently out of the loop, which is typical. Why do you foresee this? 4wd taking over? I live in the northwoods of Wisconsin, trends are typically delayed up here.
