I have been running 13.5, I leave all the weights in but I have started running a shorty pack moved all the way forward. It has been the best of both worlds. You keep the rear traction, and plenty of steering while losing some weight from the smaller battery. Your milage may very.

so my son has the rs rtr with the gear diff,what grease or oil are you putting in there? He has the reedy 3300 kv motor and i wanna start taking him to the track so I'm trying to get him dialed in,we run on med to high bite wet indoor clay,tires are barcodes,suburbs and beams

BTW, is there a fix for the transmission case. I really dont like not being able to tighten those screws all the way to avoid binding. I use thread lock but sometimes they still get a bit loose. Would a rpm or aluminum case be the way to go to avoid binding?
