How would the big bores reduce chassis slap? (curious)

They are biggers shocks so they have more shock resistance, which mean that they will stop the truck from bottoming out when landing off a jump wear the stock ones seem to do it a lot if u don't land jus right

It's not going to make or break you.

I only ran 25's on slower, smoother tracks.

Rough/outdoor or running +3mm offset wheels, the 30's are fine.

Work on your overall driving first before worrying about this.

Loving my SC10's, but having issues with durability. Every race meet I spend so much time at the wrench bench trying to keep my sons and my truck in order. They're not thrashed, we treat them well, but there always seems to be something.

My solution you ask? I'm starting to carry enough spares that I could start my own LHS. :P

Can't imagine ditching the SC10 any time soon. If not for the amount of money I've put into them, the simple fact I do _LOVE_ how they drive. I do think I'll convert one to SCB though, seeing as how SCTs and SCBs run together as one class at my local track.

The sc10 is fragile, but if u are not concerned about weight then I suggest the RPM products for u, it will surprisingly make the sc10 almost indestructible I went all rpm with my t4 and I mean that thing takes a whooping haha, I did end up breaking the front bumper, but rpm is covered by the warrantee so I sent it in for a new one

What kind of set ups do you guys prefer outdoors. I like the truck loose so I run 30wt shock oil with blue Team Assoc rear springs and silver fronts but I have not run an outdoor track yet. Clay track and bumpy with good sized doubles. Im just trying to eliminate going in the complete wrong direction so just looking for ideas.

I run 1 bumpy outdoor with med jumps and I have silver springs in front, and green in the rear, and 37.5 all around with 3 hole pistons, and I do ok with that. And on the indoor I run the same setup on the indoor track with high jumps and tight corners, but I have to put in a 1/2 inch spacer on the springs.

What spacers do you run for outdoors? I was thinking about running the same set up and just bumping the fronts to 40wt

Default STRC Rear Chassis Brace / Bulkhead

Have any of you guys tried this brace? I put this on from beginning (haven't ran with the plastic brace ever). The truck is so incredibly loose on power on the exit of the turns.

It's sooo loose it almost spins out in the straights and I can barely clear any of the jumps. I can't ever seem to get the power down to the track. Do you think the aluminum piece is too stiff causing the rear not to work?

I maxed out on most adjustments to try to get some grip in the rear. What are your thoughts?

The brace isnt whats causing the truck to act like that, its prolly your susp setup or the tires!!
