I maxed out on most adjustments to try to get some grip in the rear. What are your thoughts?

the truck is naturally loose in the rear. That said, I see a lot of novices to expert drive them without issue. As bad as your truck sounds, its probably tires. Also, did you put the 3oz weight in the back of the battery tray?

well a few of us had the same prob on the long straight at our local track this weekend. first race this year and we got a new layout and the back stretch is very long and a few of us kept spinning out half way down the back stretch. we thought it was tires and different tires helped but didn't get the prob totally fixed we ended up toeing the front out and that made it GREAT now we can fly down that long straight. give it a try

Toe out in the front is not a no-no. A little bit of toe out less than 2 degrees) will make the car turn in more aggressively but can make it wander a bit on the straights and through the bumpy stuff.

think of it like this. The tires will obviously want to go in the direction that they face. If thy point inward a little, they will push on each other and give more stability moving forward, but will scrub some speed because they are fighting each other. When they face away from each other, they constantly want to pull the front end away front each other. That is partly what makes it dart around more. And obvioisly if the point directly ahead they just go straight and dont pull or push on each other. I normally try for straight or very little toe in. I have rarely ever used toe out in 2wd off road. Sometimes i have used it in 4x4 of road though.

Default Gullwing front a-arms

I got some gullwing a-arms to start updating my ft sc10. I threw them on last night and it did not look right to me. It seems as the v2 shocks are too short (front). Do these a-arms only work with the big bores?
