I am hoping AE gets parts in soon. I am building and sc10b as well and fear the broken arm issue.

You should be pissed. Its inexcusable. You paid for the truck and now you can't run it. I don't mean to be incendiary but AE is starting to loose their luster IMO. First the 4x4 SC10 (nuf said), then the 2 year development of the big bore shock that was good but not really special, then the SC10B tower and arms, and then can anyone find the B44 slipper spring? A slipper spring....c'mon! I've been an AE fan since the gold pan days. C'mon AE, let's get it back together!!! Read these forums, see what people really want!

We had our National champs last week, good old SC10FT #5NZ:nod:

Its not just AE right now. lots of companies have no product. This is what happens when everyone has china make their crap.

samuelsonmark71 04-09-2013 09:15 AM

The arms and such for that much!!? I have a set just chilling here, just in case

mblgjr 04-09-2013 09:22 AM

It's not just AE. But it does get old. Sometimes they know when they take holiday.

The Italians do the same thing.

I want the new arms and towers and the big bores too.
But dont wanna spend crazy amounts of money for them.
Lets face it my sc10 ft is going to be like it is for a while.

Unless you're on a track that's really bumpy or with large abrupt jumps, the big bores aren't a huge change.

Just run the big bore springs and call it a day.

Sometimes I still run the smaller shock on indoor blue groove.

Let's face it, folks, some peeps just have disconnected brain cells!!

Wildcat1971 04-09-2013 12:22 PM

btw, If anyone is looking for a full sc10 to sc10b conversion with front arms and front tower, pm me. The last of the parts arrive in a couple days. I decided to sell my sc10 and the sc10b conversion and focus on buggy.

Anyone know if the stock losi scte shocks will work on a sc10? you can pm me if you would like

Wildcat1971 04-10-2013 09:14 AM

How are the scte shocks different that the tlr 22sct shocks? I am asking because I dont know, lol. I have seen guys run the tlr22 shocks on the b4. The main thing is not weather they will "fit", but how different are the lengths. Because it might greatly affect droop and mess with the handling.

if everyone is worried about getting new parts, they'd better stock up because that moron in N.korea starts lighting off his estes rockets, all the shipping is gonna stop briefly.

Well since your saying that I dont really need the big bores.
The track I'll be racing on has alot of table-top jumps.
The stock SC10 shocks that come with the factory team kit are better than
the older ones that you had to do the "SNAP" thing with.
