do aluminum hubs make that big of a difference? im trying to get more cornering speed just seems truck has too much roll and and has a bit of understeer. Im running big bore spring adapters on my factory team. with front losi orange spings (2.9) and yellow (2.0) in the rear. Any recommendations? 17.5 stock class at trackside. congrats corey.

I dont know what your track conditions are like, but you seem really soft. IMO your front springs are pretty soft and your oil ir pretty light. I assume #3 is in the front and #2's in the rear with 5 limiters front and 3 rear?

I run at trackside hobbies low dust clay with medium to high traction. Correct that's how I'm running as far as pistons and limiters.

This comment goes back to where we were discussing rear ballast weight and battery position.
Nobody really touched on the topic of battery weight. Some of us run high mah packs that may be a bit heavier than what some stock class guys may be running. So pay attention to that when you're comparing setup notes with someone.

so you want more steering? or you have too much steering and body role? I would think the front is too soft and you are shifting too much weight foward and over steerings, but you said under steering which means you are pushing. seems odd

I actually don't have a problem with oversteering the truck is pushing and seems to roll to much. I have the front shocks on the inside hole on top and on the outer hole on the bottom rear shocks are the same. And also what are some of the benefits on aluminum hubs? Thanks wildcat

I did that, cause the bearings r brand new,i put them in today...and just test driving it, I think it might just be me tho, caus the plastic tranny was quiet, and the metal justbsounds like that and I'm not used to it lol, cause there is absolutely nothing wrong at all that I can find

Wheels sound good. I put some weight in the rear of the battery box, and also behind it with shoe goo, that stuff is amazing. I smashed down some golf shaft weights and got it way back there. I also moved my esc to the front so the battery is all the way back now, against the weights. I had to order some 12 gauge wire to reconnect the motor. Now I have more weight in the back and will see how it does when my track reopens in two weeks. I am also working on my Losi SCTE and moved the battery back.
