Yup do you ever sand them and with what grit? I was thinking 180 or 100 even.

Use an exactto knife to get the glaze off when they are new but they are so cheap to buy just get new ones.

Does anyone use or have any input on the integy hop up parts for my sc10. Do tbey work as good as they look. Primarily the piggyback shocks, towers, and the front and rear axle carriers. Is the aluminum a step back due to the being a bit heavier. Also i run rpm front and rear arms. The truck is only raced both indoor carpet offrood and outdoor dirt, clay mix

Stay far away. Only regrets should you buy them.

so I was talking to an AKA/Spectrum/Losi/orion sponsored guy tonight. I showed him my sc10 with DD's. He was like, wow your foams are soo hard. What he didnt do is suggest AKA foams and tires, so that was nice, but he gave me a tip to break in my foams. He said to soak them in water and then try rolling them out. Basically repeat this step to try and work the foams and get them to break in faster. SO, I thought i would pass on the info.

an oversized foam suh as monster truck foams work well on carpet also. it stiffens up the side walls on soft tires. a pain to stuff in there but worth it. i run dboot nanos up front and terrabites out back. some guy switched them around either way the trucks are on rails. dboots rock for the money.

Just got an SC10 for my daughter. During the winter my local club runs tourers and short courses on tarmac. Its dry but slippery. Can anyone recommend what tyres to use? It will be my daughters first race car so will only have a tamiya silver can to start with.

Recommendations for pinion gear with 87 tooth spur running an Epic Revtech 13.5t motor? The truck has 18 pinion stock but thinking I should start with a 20 and go larger if it is too hot?

Smaller on the pinion the cooler it will run. I was getting too hot with a 20 so I dropped down to a 19t with a 87 spur and its perfect now.

I would NOT buy anything from integy. They are a waste of money.

I'm getting ready to order a couple of Factory Team kits for my son and I for the upcoming off-road season. I'm going to run 13.5T motors in them with Tekin RC ESCs. What are the popular upgrades to make and parts to have spares of?

I'm having an issue with the Avid steering rack brushing against the top plate on my SC10 and B4.1 both. I guess I could dremmel down the top plate a little but though I'd ask here first if anyone else is having this same issue.

I notice that if I back off the 3 top screws a little bit it seems to help.
