Anyone know if FierceRC will be offering a geometry upgrade for the EB48.2 similar to what they did with the Gen1 SCT410??

Anyone know what pistons come stock? Part number is TKR6159 but not seeing that anywhere on the net. Are they CNC or regular plastic?

EDIT: Looks like they are flat 4x1.8 according to the setup sheet at the end of the manual. Not sure of CNC or not though.

I switched out my used D8 motor for a brand new one I got this week. Put on a 18t pinion. After about 2 mins on the road, puff of smoke came out of the motor. Brand new motor appears to be dead. I have been having some really terrible luck with motors recently (can splitting, one coming DOA and now this one with the smoke).

On a side note, my SCT410 runs like a champ lol

Default Set up

Just picked up a .2 can someone share with me a base type set up. I use to run a TLR 3.0 nitro and the Drake setup seemed to be a great starting point for all. Outdoor covered Mid size track good to lose traction. Any suggested setup that would help?
Thanks.

They are CNC machined with a slight taper on one side. We're referring to the new pistons as "tapered" and our original style as "conical". We've found that for the buggies running our tapered pistons upside down, /_____\ has worked best whereas the truggies like our conical pistons rightside up, \_____/.

The kit setup should be a good place to start. Run that first and then just make 1 change at a time to suit the car to your liking.

Ok thanks. I bought it used and wanted to put a conserotive set up and tweet from there. I'll search that set up.

I'm sorry, I thought I was in the EB48.3 thread . For the .2 suspension I would start with this setup but go lower in the diffs, try 7-7-5 or 5-5-5.
