The Tekno has such great turn-in already, I prefer to set it up to break while still in the straight then throw the car hard into the turn off-power. Faster and more consistent for me rather vs. trying to do a locked-rear slide then power out of it.

Looks good. Three questions.
1) what is the thickness of the skid?
2) do your skids dimple down into the countersunk chassis holes or just go flat across?
3) can you do the same with (stainless) steel for better wear at the cost of some weight?

Also, can you still mount the front bumper?

I purchased a set, not sure I'm as impressed as I thought I would be. To try to answer the questions:

1) ~1.6mm
2) Flat unfortunately
3) (manufacture question to answer obviously)
4) (bumper) no way to run stock bumper unfortunately as far as I can tell.

I will practice with the front and rear, but more than likely will end up running just the rear. I am also definitely not sold on the huge gap between the bulkhead and the plate due to not following the stock hole dimple location like the DE Racing. Obviously that's harder to do with metal vs the plastic. I love the design of the DE, but get maybe a race weekend out of their rears...

Attebery makes stainless skids/bumper combo that I have been wanting to give a shot I would think they would be very durable.

I believe they are making a new diff washer instead of making a longer pin. IMO that might not fix the issue but Tekno knows what they are doing. Whatever they come up with I'm sure they will distribute them out to customers appropriately.

I have some pins from another car I will cut down to fit, but I dont know of any that are the correct length yet.

Easily the best rear skid for the EB48 / SCT410 platform .

Yep, APE is at my home track, though he isn't around much anymore. Love his stuff and have his skids on all my Teknos. I was just hoping for a dimpled version for the countersinking. One of these days I'll get around to my custom chassis mod.

Maybe the computer wont fry this time..

What's a quick fix for more rear end stability on power? I ran my buggy for the first time today and felt it could use a little more rear end stability down the straights. Granted, it may have been because of the not so good tires on a wet track, but if it stills seems unstable this weekend with good conditions, what I would I change?
