Not sure why people are wanting to move the battery back in this buggy ? F/R balance is pretty spot on IMO , moving the battery back would just mess with the chassis handling .

On the SCT410 I could see moving the battery back as a lot of people complain about it being nose heavy . But the buggy has always flew great IMO , even with the softish stock setup the original had ......

I would tend to agree. The EB48 glides through the air very well. I fight a bit of lack of steering in the front off power and moving the weight to the back would make this a bit worse. SCT410, maybe. EB48, just not seeing it at this point.

could be some are having issues getting it to hook up on the rear. I am assuming that is part of why the rear toe in block with the more toe options works well.

Me, I went with 2K rear diff fluid and its worked really well.

Default My thoughts

I had both the Eb48 and Eb48.2. If the Bce chassis cures/helps with the corner exit grip I will get another one. I did like the car, but the corner exit was a problem when compared to my Mugen..(same day, same track, same tires, same motor, geared properly.)

I was able to race mine again last night on a loose somewhat blown out track. I had plenty of rear traction with the kit chassis and a few minor setup changes over the kit setup. I raised the rear inner camber link to the upper hole and went to the longest wheelbase that i could. Car was hooked. However, I was on the pipe like a crack head on payday in a chicane section that was giving me fits all day.

i did also try the kyosho light blue spring up front and the orange in the rear. I felt the car was way too lazy with on entry and unpredictable on exit. However, I still have yet to try the 1.3 8 hole pistons yet.

This is great news! I wish I would have known before I mounted mine... it still came out fine, just a lot of work.

Lt Blues are great for a HIGH traction track, but on anything less they make the car push like a dump truck.

So the kits springs for the EB48.2 are no good?

or the TKR6035 Pink front are to hard?

and the kyosho Lt Blue are way to soft.

green are in the middle of the front springs chart?

How do you come to the conclusion that the Tekno Pinks are too hard? They are only rated at 3.83lbs/in. I think you have it backwards.

Tekno Green are rated at 4.15lbs/in.

Kyosho Lt Blue are like 4.45lbs/in. They are more progressive than the similarly rated Tekno yellows too.

Yah I found that out the hardway. I see everyone using them and decided to give them a wirl and the car was no bueno. I am slowly figuring out what changes the car likes and does not like, but still have yet to get to the track for a tuning day.

All of my other parts will be here shortly and that's when the real fun will begin.

for me, last race it was low traction and bumpy, I liked the feel of Hot Bodies Greys up front, and Hot Bodies Greys in the rear.
