I been thinking about trying an eb48.2 lately. There are a few in my area and the car looks very impressive. To me the layout seems to favor drivers who are more fineese.... correct me if I'm wrong. Also how is driveline wear on this buggy?

Just like any car, they need to be setup to fit how you drive. This car is more forgiving than any e buggy i have ran. I have let guys who suck all the way to the top dogs run my car and they all really liked it. I like an aggressive car so the less experienced drivers would have liked a little more of a mellow setup. Its always easy to make a car push if they want it. All in all, you would really like this car. Support is hard to beat as well.

Another EB48.2 success, I just finished building the buggy Friday & hit the track yesterday the result was a TQ & win.

It would be great to have the Tekno product supported by a distributor down under.

Had a really good 1st outing with the eb48.2. I have not run any type of 8th scale in over 2 years and showed up with the car in 100% kit form.

I was able to qualify 2nd. Had some hard luck in the 1st main early on and had a magnet for a couple cars that were broken on the track and the corner marshals that were going to remove them. I was able to come from half a lap down on the 1st lap back up to 3rd. For the 2nd main i was able to pull out the win taking a 2nd overall. The podium was tekno 1 and 2.

overall the car was very stable and did not get upset at all. Everyone was commenting on how good the car looked going around the track.

only changes I made from 100% box stock was i dropped the rear camber link to the inside lower hole and move the hubs forward. 1mm shim in the front and 4mm in the rear of the hub.

Never mind, looks like it isn't Tekno they are going to start stocking.

I was told that their new brand was going to be a good thing for my cars, so I was "thinking" it was Tekno RC, but it seems that's not the case. So as far as my cars go, it may be Viper, Tekin or Radiopost.

Raced on one of the hardest layouts I think I've ever done this past weekend. 32-36 second lap times in 1/8 and if I counted right 22 jumps. Getting the timing down was crazy but the 48.2 was great. I can definitely see the advantage to the light weight over my Mugen conversion hitting and landing jumps. Unfortunately we were rained out just as the mains started.

Thanks Tekno for the great ride. Now I just need the NB.

Great job John and everyone who raced this weekend. We really appreciate you supporting Tekno RC.

RCGOD, as of now, those are the only two options. FTW is looking into it as well.

Hey Guys,

I still have a ton of the front skid plates with integrated bumpers. I'd like to clear them out so I can work on other projects so I'm dropping the price by 25%. They are now only $18.

Thanks,

Chris
