I think he means the Serpent servo saver spring. If so, no need to do the mod as Tekno has come out with a new HD spring.

The only mod for the Serpent spring is to the spring itself so it fits, which is apparently when you go to put it on.

I would hope the new HD spring does the job but I have two installs of the Serpent spring so I won't be finding out myself.

Yupppp thats what iam dayong whats the mod so the serpent spring fits.... and yupp inknow tekno came out with a hd servo spring... and I know it works good.. my question was (if you read) was if anyone compared one to the other. What their conclusion was..
And... if anyone had the link on the mod of the serpent spring. . If no one has done itbibwoukd like to try.. (check the lbs per compression on each then go from there)

Not exactly an eb48 question, but I am looking for a battery for my eb48 and I don't know where else to ask so I'll see if anyone here knows...

Does anyone make a 4S hard case pack that uses the built in 4mm bullet connectors like you can get on 2S packs?

I haven't seen one but would like it if it existed. Thanks in advance if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I think they don really make them cus the increased resistance with wear and inability to replace tubes. Danny from SMC posted this when asked if he would make a 4s inboard:

That Reedy pack with 5mm bullet connectors is very nice. An excellent pack for the EB48 in regards of both physical size & weight, as well as runtime and that mystical "C" rating.

I never liked Deans connectors (I am fairly good at soldering them on, thats not the issue), and will probably standardize on this pack for my my 1/8th electric stuff.

I'd assume a battery company sitting on a warehouse full of batteries with hardwires poking out of them aren't too keen to like the idea of retooling for bullet connectors. However, the argument that the internal connectors go bad over time is iffy, because in the 2S world bullet connectors are practically the norm outside of basher packs - with no issues that I've ever experienced.

However I have had a cases where the hardwired wiring became loose, leading to erratic connection to the cells which eventually leads to the demise of the pack. (I'm not one to go around resoldering the wiring on the internal LiPo cells.)

SMC isn't sitting on a warehouse of batteries tho, you practically have to preorder everything cus he can't keep up w demand, not saying internal is bad just I trust Danny's knowledge and most internal 2s not be used in SC cus of the dirt and vibration but everyone does anyway.
