For the person asking about the RX8, it fits well. I have it mounted lengthwise in my SCT410 and and the other way in my EB48. Not sure if you can fit it lengthwise along with a 1/8 motor, but it definitely fits easily the other way (which is what most folks are doing in the EB48). For pics of it, just look at the press release shots of the EB48. Here's one example:

No problem. The hardest part is finding room for the switch, which is somewhat difficult because the switch wire is fairly short; although, I am running a longer motor that takes up more room between it and the esc.

Talking about motors & esc's that can fits this buggy, anything in the same specifications or below these measurments will fit:
Motor :
75.18 mm long
41.74 mm in diameter

ESC:
56 x 48 x 35 mm
( 2.2" x 1.9" x 1.4" )

and that's really one of the best advantages of this buggy's design than it can allow it to fit up to this scale and size of motors and esc's.

My motor can is 42.5mm and fits just fine. The only thing that limits the motor diameter is the center brace which most people don't run and is really easy to trim if it does contact (depending on spur size).

Thats good to hear check out t bone racing they make rear skid plates for eb48 also front skid plate / pro bumber looks like this one could provide better protection to chassies covers more of it then what comes with the kit see what you think!

Also can i ask why you bought two kits do you think that you will break 500 dollars worth of parts isnt cheaper to buy parts as you need them from amains their cheap for small orders and fast postage seems like alot of money waiting to be used in spare parts!

The sct pro can run pretty much any motor with a 4s lipo. My motor is a long rotor 4 pole 2200kv truggy motor, and it's a handful. My sct pro handles the setup beautifully. I don't notice the 150a vs 120a sct pro esc running different really. I choose the sct pro because it is smaller and easier to access programming input. The sct pro is an esc that will blow your mind, I bet you'll ditch your rx8. Hw sensored esc's are so smooth, easy to adjust, and unbelievably cheap.

I have no ties to HW btw. I've had 4 Hw esc's and 2 Hw motors, all of them have been great. If I were you I'd drop the $90 on the sct pro and it'll be a bit less of a headache.

Just remember the sct pro isn't rated above 4s, so take that into account.
