I was talking to a local team driver last night and he said the 7200 was designed with 1s use in mind. Just too much for anything else. A local racer did buy one with the intent of using it in a Losi Scte. I'm gonna grab some popcorn for that one.

Love the motor, seems to have a bit more bottom/Pop than the Tekin, but was really inpressed with smoothness, won't be able to give a real race test till this weekend. But so far, loving it.

I don't know about there in St. Louis, but here in Los Angeles, it's Sunday. That's means it's "this weekend" Just kidding around. I'm guessing you meant next weekend. I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes for you, keep us posted bud!

We unfortunately have winter here LOL, and the Indoor Track is in a rebuild, so just one of those unusual non-racing weekends... what can you do,

I just noticed on revtecks website they have these same motors but with an 1/8 inch shaft designed for two wheel drive vehicles, that really seems like overkill

Sorry, I have been out of town, and busy with work stuff, was able to race it twice, outdoors and indoor. Power Band on this motor is smooth, seems to have more Mid-Upper torque then the Tekin, as of course it it a little higher KV, but overall this is a awesome motor, Like I said I raced it twice, and outdoors I won, and indoors finished 2nd, but I beat myself was leading most of the race. Temps were under 150, had to turn it down both indoors and outdoors.

Highly recommend this to anyone.

I am gonna be keeping an eye on this thread!
Might be an option if I need a lil more motor... For outside on big 1/8th scale tracks.

I've seen twenty posts with this about the 7000kv. no one seems to read. The 7000kv motor is for 1s.

I've ran the Tekin Pro4 4000, 4600, and Revtech 4800 the in my DESC410r. I would say that the Revtech motor is noticably more powerful and flat out faster. The power curve seems a bit more harsh than the 4600. I thought the pro4 4600 was lazy. The Revtech's magnets even appear to be stronger when spinning the motor by hand. Revtech really knocked it out of the part with this one, I'm glad I switched.
