Should be recieving a 4800KV shortly to test on a Losi SCTE, in comparison to the Tekin Pro4, any other driver input would be good.

Let me know how the testing goes, I've asked about this motor a week or so ago and got no responses.......... I may just sell my brand new Pro4 if its worth it to get........

7200KV!! Holy Crap... will be keeping an eye out for these motors, maybe not that big though...

I am a team driver. I ran the 4800kv at the PNB a couple weeks ago in a scte. There are several videos of me racing. I placed third behind two factory drivers. I also was the only one doing the big triple every lap! Same gearing as the pro4 4600 the rev tech came out a little faster! Temps are a little warmer then the pro4 but no problem running ten minutes on that big track! I'm running 13 on big track and 12 on tighter ones. Temps are around 175. The guys tell me no problem running up to 180. My driving style is usually warmer temps then most. Motor is silky smooth with great breaking! I recommend this motor !

I've been considering the 3800 for some time, and then there's the 7200, I want that just to scare a couple people at the track.

Might have to try a 4800 motor outdoors this season. Yeah, no idea what revtech was thinking, making a 7200 motor. Got thier heads stuck in 2 pole 540 1/10th thinking too long, lol. They would have been much further ahead to make a 4200 motor instead of a 7200 motor.

U guys think that 7200kv would be good in a 4wd buggy??? Like a b44.1

Only if you really enjoy shredding and replacing plastic diff gears....

Picking up a 4800 for outdoor season tonight. I have really liked the other motors from the Revtech line I've used and expect this motor to exceed the hype. Just about a month until we begin shredding tires outside!

Yea, was also there, made the triple a couple times, just too risky though, was also running the 4600. Was a good test though for the motor.

Does anyone know what size Rotor these motors use? The 4-pole motors have obviously proven their worth and I LOVED my cc 1410 and my Pro4 4600 has been the best motor I've ever used in any class. But much of their success is attributed to their larger rotor sizes. I think the efficiency comes from the 4-pole design, but at what point does the law of diminishing returns apply to the number of Poles a motor has. I am very interested in how the 4800kv performs in comparison to the Tekin which currently in my opinion is the class of the field.

Not sure on the Rotor Size, think 18.5 or 18, the motor was designed and tested to compete/outperform the 4600(big shoes to fill, I know), but Rev-Tech is good at that:lol:

But can it hang with the tenshock???
