Nope, I think you should concentrate your efforts in developing a new 3-wheel class leading ATC to beat this one that has been killing it at my local tracks
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/RC-radio-cont...L-!~~60_35.JPG Now that looks dialed!! :sneaky: |

Well TLR Better release something soon, because if they don't i'm gonna have that new Kyosho Buggy on pre-order. But who knows that may be a ways away. :sneaky:
|
I hear one is in the works but unfortunately it will be somewhere between six months and a year before we see it on the shelves. This makes sense why they're keeping quiet.
|
Maybe since they don't sell many XXX-4's is why they think the class is dead
|
I honestly think they just need to update what they already have and throw in a few goodie to make it appealing. Since it is a 15 year old car and still beating the new b44s and such. If it is not broken don't fix it.

They NEED to come out with one STAT! That class is huge! Maybe not in some of your areas but pretty much world wide it's big. It needs to be an aluminum chassis. Ill sell my b44.2 in a heartbreak WHEN (not if) they come out with one.

the more I think about it, I need to start racing a buggy of some sort.

That video is great. I get so tired of the bitching I hear sometimes about this jump kicks the car wrong, there's a rut in the straight, etc. just ditch the dirt and get down with the astro turf. The only purpose the current trend in American style indoor tracks serve is an occasional excuse for some clean kicks!

Great vidio. I hope that does not catch on. We already have too many classes. Looks like fun.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLU5CuuAc7A That guy should have been at the Worlds Warm-up a couple of weeks ago! That would have REALLY sent the message home! He would probably make the A-main at most of my state tracks. |
^ interesting.
still, is this the time for a new 1/10 4wd buggy from TLR? will the XXX4 and XX4 survive yet another 10 years? |

maybe a return to On-Road is what TLR is up to. |
Didnt sell many xxx4??? You cant walk into any LHS and buy a XX4 or XXX4 so that cant make money if they don't produce what they make...
If they cannot better the XX4/XXX4 and they insist on there team drivers driving them. Why not just TLR them up and re release them as TLR XX-4-2013 edition with Fresh belts Lipo optimized chassis or mods included and 22 shocks.. I would have jumped on a re release if it came with parts support and commitment to keep stock levels up.. (went xb4 got tired of waitin...if xb2 drops before TLR44 very likely im going xray from then on) But i wont buy used or pay for ebay special kits when my lhs cannot get me parts. |
