X2 on that. If you want complex try to change the rear toe on a schumacher wheeler with aluminum hinge pin holders.

Nope, I think you should concentrate your efforts in developing a new 3-wheel class leading ATC to beat this one that has been killing it at my local tracks

Are those tires clay compound or supersoft?

I raced against those... Super noisey! Great with Hydradrive. Great car.

And those tires were Candy Track tires, before their time!

No, sedan on-road is more popular than 4wd.

If that is Losi's excuse than why bring out the xx4 and xxx4 when back then the class was small.

Not where I live.

BS-Racing 06-17-2013 07:57 PM

Well TLR Better release something soon, because if they don't i'm gonna have that new Kyosho Buggy on pre-order. But who knows that may be a ways away. :sneaky:

Woulvesbaine 06-17-2013 10:38 PM

I hear one is in the works but unfortunately it will be somewhere between six months and a year before we see it on the shelves. This makes sense why they're keeping quiet.

H0LESH0T 06-18-2013 01:30 AM

Maybe since they don't sell many XXX-4's is why they think the class is dead

HpiBlitz 06-18-2013 04:40 AM

I honestly think they just need to update what they already have and throw in a few goodie to make it appealing. Since it is a 15 year old car and still beating the new b44s and such. If it is not broken don't fix it.

Have you noticed the latest trend of the super sweet Major Event offroad tracks? I see sedan offroad being the next great 1/10th class!!

TLRfanboy 06-18-2013 10:18 AM

They NEED to come out with one STAT! That class is huge! Maybe not in some of your areas but pretty much world wide it's big. It needs to be an aluminum chassis. Ill sell my b44.2 in a heartbreak WHEN (not if) they come out with one.

the more I think about it, I need to start racing a buggy of some sort.

ABBOTT 06-18-2013 07:18 PM

That video is great. I get so tired of the bitching I hear sometimes about this jump kicks the car wrong, there's a rut in the straight, etc. just ditch the dirt and get down with the astro turf. The only purpose the current trend in American style indoor tracks serve is an occasional excuse for some clean kicks!

It's already bad enough running on clay let alone racing on astroturf I don't think I'd race anymore haha we need REAL off-road tracks

Robert Walker 06-18-2013 08:43 PM

Great vidio. I hope that does not catch on. We already have too many classes. Looks like fun.

^ interesting.

still, is this the time for a new 1/10 4wd buggy from TLR?

will the XXX4 and XX4 survive yet another 10 years?

isn't that what they did with the XXX-4 and XXX-S?
maybe a return to On-Road is what TLR is up to.

Joel Lagace 06-20-2013 02:46 PM

Didnt sell many xxx4??? You cant walk into any LHS and buy a XX4 or XXX4 so that cant make money if they don't produce what they make...

If they cannot better the XX4/XXX4 and they insist on there team drivers driving them. Why not just TLR them up and re release them as TLR XX-4-2013 edition with Fresh belts Lipo optimized chassis or mods included and 22 shocks..

I would have jumped on a re release if it came with parts support and commitment to keep stock levels up.. (went xb4 got tired of waitin...if xb2 drops before TLR44 very likely im going xray from then on) But i wont buy used or pay for ebay special kits when my lhs cannot get me parts.
