yeah, i started with green/white, and it was the same with the buggy (silver/white) and it just wasnt enough in the rear, i moved to silver/pink in the buggy and it was alot better, so ordering pink for the rear of the truck also.

silver/pink buggy
green/pink truck

Besides springs, can someone please list the additional parts needed to convert the T4.1 to big bore? I don't need part numbers, just the brand and what it is. Also, how is it that the big bore don't rub the front shock tower or rear turnbuckles? Tolerance looks awful close.

Thanks for the info. Any thoughts on the ST Racing Concepts alum rack for these trucks and buggys?

I've got STRC racks in my B4.1 and SC10. They are pretty nice. You still need to glue/lock the servo saver and they use the same bushing in the Ackerman arm that contributes quite a bit to the slop in the steering.

what you can also use for the upper, in combination with the stock threaded collar.

Any advantage to the Ghea collars as apposed to the traxxas retainers?

looks.

easier to adjust. with the traxxas retainer you need to pull the spring down do adjust the stock aluminum collar.

the ghea collars allow for slightly more adjustment on the spring, they take up the same amount of threads as the stock collar. this is more an issue on the buggy than the truck, and then it only seems to be and issue with a stiffer spring in the rear.
