I started with the Ryan Dunford high bite clay setup. Dropped the front inner camber links 2mm and changed the oils to ae 30wt and run either black or green ae rear springs depending on traction. And as far as tires its gold barcodes or typos all around. I never have a problem with push even running an Orion vts2 8.5. Also change the steering rack to the 2.0 version with no bumpsteer. And no toe in. 1° camber all around. We run a high traction clay and this setup kills it.

When you are breaking in new tires for the 22t especially having the aka red inserts use a compound like paragon to soften the tire. I go so far as to put the foams under the tires of my real truck and run them over a few time to soften them. With the foams and tire broken in I can throw my truck into corners at high speed and it grabs nicely.

wow, you break in your foams like that! I have never thought of breaking those in, but the red aka are all I use. Would going back to the green springs in front help? I switched them out for blue and will not be able to hit the clay for a while.

Sometime, CC can be too hard, so breaking in is a good tuning option. You can always just put a wrench through the wheel, and roll it in pretty hard on the pit table.

Works like a dream and the foams are even better the second round of tires.I tried the softer foams but like the consistency of the aka ones.

Idk if it's already been discussed but can the 2.0 caster blocks, steering rack and spindles/hubs fit on the 22t?

Haven't tried the caster blocks but the steering rack is an excellent addition if you wish to eliminate bump steer. I tried the exotek rack but kept blowing servo horns and adding an aluminum one resulted in a ruined ti servo.

Yea the 1.0 rack acquires a lot of slop pretty quick. My 2.0 rack on my buggy has lasted for a decent amount of time without too much

Just need the rack it comes with everything even the servo shims. I found using one of the ball cups from the truck and the other side the new 22 2.0 open ball cup worked out nice to make a solid stronger connection from the horn to the slider.

What ever happened to this? I know the 22t is off shelfs but figured I would bring it up again.

Or has anyone come up with a solution to this using different parts from other trucks?

This has probably been asked but is the 22t completely discontinued? Thinking about getting one but Nobody has them and I don't want to worry about getting parts. And info would be great!
