The new towers are preference..... not necessary by any means.
I've dremeled the bottom for ages to fit the battery, the front one is alittle beefier where the camber links go. I dont use the 4th hole on the rear so it doesnt matter to me I'm still rollin old ones

Hey guys,
I am currently setting up a B4 to run in super stock class at my local track but also wanted to get a t4. I am looking into getting one of the brushless rtr t4 ( whenver they become available). Now my question is, they come with a Reedy 3300 kv motor. What is that equivalent to. Is it the same as a 13.5 motor. Sorry if it has been asked before but I couldnt find it. Thanks

I am also wondering about the t4.1 brushless.... It's gonna be my first offroad rig that I'll race... Does anyone have any idea if they have even been released yet? Ive had one on order for a month and want to know when they are comin out. Does anybody own the brushless version yet? I'm planning to put a maba and a 7700 kv into it....! Any upgrades that they need?
does anyone know what setup the team was running for 2wd mod this year at the cactus? Especially ryan c. as his buggy looked good.
Does anyone also have some setup advice when running losi pistons? Like 55 or 56 and what weight?

he was probably running his new setup, that is viewable under the b4.1 setups on rc10.com
he even could be running a cut green rear or a silver spring in the rear along with a green front spring.
good luck, the weight placement is crucial.

Can a super tiny scratch/knick in a shock shaft cause the shock to leak? You can't feel the scratch by just rubbing the shaft, you can only feel it by running your finger nail on it.
Also, can an slightly beat up shock body cause a scratch in the shock shaft? The shock body is a little scratched up at the opening on the bottom, where the shaft goes in and out.

#1. Yes. The scratch can damage the orings and cause leaking, not to mention oil sneaking throug the inconsistent surface before the rings wear.
#2. Not likely. The shock body is aluminum, too soft to damage the hardened steel shaft. I suppose the coating on the Unobtanium shafts can be chipped (mine did). Dirt is abrasive enough to cause it too, keep em' clean.

B4.1 Set-up Sheet
The new B4.1 setup sheet has a selection for different degree rear hubs. (0, 0.5, 1.0) I wouldn't think AE would have this on their sheet unless it was an optional AE tuning part. Anyone heard anything about some new hubs being released?

Noone knows.... he ran green rear springs and he told my buddy standing there looking at his car they were blacks lol
Perhaps they're referring to the aftermarket ones? I wouldn't mind some nice cheap plastic ones myself .
cav said that? well if he was running blacks, with the weight he was trying on his setup would make his car dump over like crazy i would think.
a lot of the times pros take the color off the spring to mess with people. maybe they were blacks that he painted green, but i highly doubt this lol.
scott brown ran silvers in the rear and greens on Tuesday and was BALLISTIC fast. not to mention his car was really planted.
