offset spring cups are not designed to be used as a tuning aid. they are simply to allow more adjustability when using shorter length springs (example: front of the b44). it is possible that your ride height was too low to begin with and when you added the offset cups it made it correct. if it was correct to begin with then it it too high now, if you didnt make any other changes these cups will add a couple milimeters to your ride height.

It's been a little over a year since I have ran the B4. Does anybody have the cuurent lipo setup for indoor clay (not bluegroove). Tires used are BK bars, tapers, barcodes.
Thanks

I have ran Brent Thielke's Cactus Classic 2009 setup on a few tracks and it has worked great. From a track where we run pink/silver slicks to a track where we run double dee's. also worked great on blue groove bar codes/bk type track.
I just put the RPM spring cups on my b4. They don't hit the arms like the stock cups when useing the LW setups and they aren't as tall as the b44 cups.

Is it the front or the rear b44 spring cups? The fronts are about the same as the rpm and the rears are very tall.
While we're talking b44, are the green b44 springs the same as the green sc10/t4 springs?
I have to run allmost no preload with the tall b44 cups as they preload the rear springs too much, thats why I tried the lower Rpm cups.
I think they're only runningthe b44 cups so that they can clear the arms at full droop with the shocks all the way in on the towers. the rpms seem to do that as well, bit don't screw up the preload as much.
But i'm running inside on the towers, not hole "0" in the rear.

Another reason the B44 spring cups became popular was that some who run the newer light weight setup used rear springs that were cut down 1.5 coils, the B44 cup gets you back to having some pre-load adjustment with the shorter springs.

I didn't have any rear adjustment even without cut springs. The B44 cups gave me ride height adjustment in the rear and eliminated the cup-to-arm interference up front.

What does it take to make a lipo fit in the FT buggy? I'm getting an FT B4 this week.
Thanks in advance!

Nothing....what kind of lipo do you plan on running? most of the hard case 7.4v will fit with no problem, you might have to dremel the rear tower a bit to allow the battery strap to fit in the recess better though, that would be the extent of it.
