I got info straight from the horses mouth. The set up sheet on the website should say 1 limiter in the front. I asked Ryan Cav at the track on Sunday when we were club racing just to get it right.
You were right it is one .030" limiter in the front/rear shocks. The set up is awesome. Fun do drive. I am also using the rear toe in block from Chedder Bob since there are no .5deg rear hubs anywhere to be had for now.

CCLay, the 1 limiter is for the B4, its right.
I did notice from pics of Maifields truck at cactus he ran racer's edge rear hubs, but it wasnt noted on the setup sheet. I've been running a REALLY close setup to his T4 (lighter) setup and its awesome.
I ran the lipo setup on the B44 last weekend and it was dialed.

I've noticed when driving the straight your tires baloon like crazy.
Wouldn't it be better to stop the balooning?

I would think so but duno for sure..I have heard of folks using duct tape on the inside of the tire (outside of the foam, inside of tire) to help keep from ballooning so much....this was a 5th scale guy..said it worked great for him....but I've never tried the 'duct tape' belted tires. lol.

B4 stock - pinion choice for AE 72 T spur
I'm running a Novak GTB and a Novak 17.5.
What's the correct pinion to use?
=== Update ===
Found the answer: 31 pinion for Novak recommended FDR
34 pinion if you want to push the top speed.
I had better/consistent laptime with 31 pinion. (Novice, moving towards stock)

I just put a T3 together for my daughter to run the novice class. I cant believe how well this thing handles. I put 3 hole pistons in the rear shocks with 50wt. and 40wt in the front with 2 hole pistons. Stock springs. It jumps perfect no matter how I hit the ramp or at what speed it lands on all fours like a cat.
She has a Chamelon 19t in it with 17/84 ratio.
Very nice truck for its age.

Hi all, I have just bought a b4 - my first 2wd buggy in 15 years - and thought I would pop my head up and say "hi", and also to ask what a good starting point for gearing a 10.5 motor (LRP stock spec if it helps) would be. I also had a question about the 2 illuzions bodies, is there a big difference between the scooped and the scoopless? if so, what is it
I've been in this thread all of 5 mins and can already see there's heaps of info, I've got a great looking starting setup from the last page, & everyone seems pretty helpful. Thanks in advance
