I have a T4 and I enjoy 19/87 for gearing. The track I run on is most of the time dry like a popcorn fart, but when it gets some water, that gearing helps me stay quick and not heat up too much.

ok thanks ill try a few different setups , as for the spur and everything do you think i have a problem if i spin the tires and they both move in the same direction and also if i hold both rear wheels and give it some gas they dont really lift right away ? i have to gun it to get them to lift and it kinda makes a bad sound when i do that.

My guess is a loose diff. If you've ever watched a hunting show on TV, a loose diff sounds a little bit like a turkey call

And yeah, it's normal for a car with a brushless motor to roll the entire drivetrain and not the diff when you turn the wheels.

Well the alternative is a Veg-O-Matic, in which case I'd suspect you're a few teeth short of a transmission

Just remember that diff spring is really short, so make very small adjustments. Typically 1/8 of a turn at a time.

He said this "i just bought a t4 and it came with 1.14 or 1.18 shock bodies and the stock ones i believe are 1.02" , and he is talking about the shock bodies, not shafts, and the truck not buggy

the other night i was trying some different gearing and it was a pain for some reason to get the pinion to match up with spur evenly , everytime i would put it in the motor shaft on my mamba 5700kv motor would stick out about an inch further then the plastic gaurd that protects the gears (nopt the rpm one , the one that comes with the car) so i dremelled out a lil hole so it sticks out a bit and then everytime i would try and drive the car the pinion would just loosen up on its own and come off the motor shaft , i tried a differnt little screw in the pinion also thinking it maybe stripped with no success. Is the pinion's mesh supposed to match up with the spurs mesh perfectly or is it suppossed to stick out a lil and why is the motor shaft sticking out further then the motor guard? and why does the pinion keep falling off the shaft? sorry for all these questions but it was stressing me out , what am i doing wrong here?
