+1 for the plastic chassis and arms. The rest of the parts can be either or.

im sure its been addressed on here but what is the best shock cap upgrade for bleeding these things. I can get them close but never perfect, which drives a perfectionist like me nuts!!

I don't really bleed, what works for me is to fill it with shock fluid, and then just place the top on, maybe work it on one thread, and then compress the piston so that the bottom cap that threads onto the shaft is touching the base, and then work the cap on the rest of the way. Really easy and works really reliably, nice mix of air in there.

I thought he was talking about the truck also.

I've been running a 13.5 novak with 26p and 81 spur. The motor gets sort of hot but not bad. With a temp gun the motor is comes off after 5 minutes at 145-150. Speedo is only 100.

Guys I am having problems with my t4. My mamba esc smoked so I am trying to use brushed motors in the truck but it is slow and motor gets very hot. Ive tried stocks, 19s and 15 turns with factory reccommended gearing. What could this be?Gearing possibly? Thanks for any help.

In centegrade my 13.5 Novak comes off at 37.7 with a 28p and 81 spur. The GTB comes off at 44.6 and thats without a fan.

Check your gear mesh, make sure that the spur can rock easily in between the teeth of the pinion. When I look at the gap from the end of the tooth to a groove it looks about 1mm.

The mesh is set nice, the truck is very quiet, but after about 3 laps in my backyard, the bit of the comm or armature that pokese out of the endbell is super hot and "smells hot." That was post #100, nice what gearing do you guys think would be good for a stock co27/method r 15x2/19t pro, im ready to try again because that mamba is taking too long...thanks for the quick reply...

i dunno...all i can say is that you'll have to gear it down a bit....i cant gear mine down yet coz iam waiting on rcmart 2 send my my package...which contains plenty of pinions...iam running a 15x2 on 24t and it gets pretty hot on the armature.....i chek the comm and brushes after each run so i know that i havent scorched it at all..

its all good...

Take the gear cover off, then use your 1.5mm allen key/driver to loosen the grub screw on the pinion, then slide it off. Its the same as any other car.

Are most people using the QC hubs? Or no? Since I'm liking my GT2 more each weekend, I need to start getting my tires converted to the QC wheels.

looking at getting into lipo for the new year, i remember seeing something about adding weight, and someone made a plate that went in the bottom of the battery tray, is there somewhere to buy this, or will i have to machine one out of stainless?
