Well I ran my buggy on the track for first time yesterday. All I can say is WOW. I ran stock springs 35 oil front 30 rear and 7000 center diff. The car with a 1900 tekin and rx8 with no tweaking was the fastest thing on the straight away. It jumps extremely well and effortless to control in the air. The only thing was the rear end wanted to spin relatively easy. Any advice is very welcome to help with the rear. In my opinion this buggy is the best I have driven yet and it's my 5th this year lol

Thats great. Those were my experiences too. I would try going Purple springs in front (+2 lvls of stiffness) and Grey in rear (-2 lvls of stiffness) this will take some of the steering off and make the rear end planted a tad more. Also, try going 2.3 in the rear anti roll instead of the 2.5. I am loving the changes on my tracks. If you want more steering go 2.0 anti roll in the front and you get the steering back. I put 35 all the way around and while thats thicker than stock and effected to traction 2.0/2.3 sway bars got the traction back.

Here's a scan of my indoor setup. Hope Serpent gets an editable 811BE sheet up soon. The track I run at is on the small side and has lots of tight and 180 deg turns. Traction is medium to high. Everyone runs slicks with Reinos or Fast Guy traction compounds. Track gets watered every round, so by the third round, the grip is pretty good.

My Aluminum horn from GH will be in soon its looks like a direct fit from the serpent well at least from the picture even if the height is smaller it should work fine.

How was your rear traction with this setup what type of surface? |

Gez miss that one blame it on the blackberry screen Welp after many hrs of playing and piecing this snake together it's finally done, minus painted body. Now I'm just waiting on my HV batteries to show up so I can start getting this buggy set up, chamber, ride height, etc. I never ran a T8 before so if anyone has some good advice on a starting point I'd appreciate it. I'm going to be running the 1900 w/2s. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/ddbd3f78.jpg http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/52e3c33a.jpg http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/3851e76e.jpg http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/35ace33b.jpg http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/ed51c215.jpg |
Nice work looks perfect. These care go together so nicely. I know I thoroughly enjoyed the build. You may have to lay those wires down on the esc. I know I had to they hit the body. But now it's time to get it dirty.
