I thought the same thing. My buddy did the 4 scale one on each wheel and it was perfectly balanced. The reason is that the motor is more center line than the ESC and servo, which are further out on the chassis and as hard as it may seem to believe that makes a huge difference in counter balance.

Thanks a lot Jason!
The official pictures suggested otherwise, your help is ver kind! Wish I also had someone near me with the car so I could measure it with bits and pieces on and off to find where the magic is :)

use the 16T in the kit. I'd have no lower than a 14T and no higher than a 17T with that motor as spares/options in your tool box. buy 15T for sure. BUT really check out the Techno pinions. The bigger 2.5mm grub nut or screw means you can crank down harder without fear of stripping the smaller ones. and they are labled well and cost about the same as a robinson.

ill have to sell the mad 21t i needed for the durango.

The kit comes with a 16t pinion and it's all metric. The sizes are listed a page back or so.

im getting a 2050KV motor what pinions recommended?

Start with the kit 16t pinion and then drop back to 15 if needed. I definitely would not go higher with that motor.

Any way to get an editable blank setup sheet PDF for the 811Be? I have a pretty good setup for a tight, technical high grip indoor track, and want to record it.

Chad Millikan 11-12-2011 05:32 PM

Use the nitro buggy sheet. All the adjustments are the same and just not in the title that it's for an E car.
