sorry for my ignorance.. What is the HD pad and does that come with the kit or do I buy it seperately? I just had a little extra cash and wanted to start out on the right foot.

I have never had any such issue with all three of my MMP's in very very different applications.

I still can't get this steering back from my center diff. You think inner limiting the shocks will help? Stiffer Sway on the front? I'm a little plexed. It drove great with what i'm used to before. I love the balldiff, but it's definitely not my truck anymore.

It's an AE HD slipper pad. (more material, they aren't so small) look it up, you'll get it. Tower hobbies.

But I would really go get Garopads and never replace the pads again. The HD pads will glaze just like any other fiber pad.

I remember him (Vito) posting something earlier, before he ordered his kit, about how he was on a fixed income. To me, that means he's either old, or has a disability. No disrespect intended.

Based on that assumption, I've been trying to keep my mouth shut.

So I'm better off getting the Garopads along with the clutch basket? I already purchased the clutch basket. When I build the kit I can just install it then?

Haha...you should have seen the reaction I got when Brent gave me one of the flatbill hats and I instantly curved the bill right in front of him...

Brent: "What are you DOING?!"
Me: "Flatbills are stupid....I'm from Minnesota, not East LA"

If you have the basket, either are fine. a Stock slipper will wear out those HD or stock pads. The Garo's are designed for the stock slipper and indestructible.

ok thanks for the help! I'll pick up some of the Garodisc pads tomorrow. I looked at the site earlier, do I get 2 or three of them. The description for two said not to use them with the clutch basket. Then when I looked at the 3 pack it said to use with the clutch basket. Once again, AE and this truck are completely new to me

Yea me too, since most are running saddles inline, figured a middle stick setup would be pretty close to the same thing, would be a good option of us invested in stick packs. I don't think you would be able to use the rx box or esc tray.

I guess you could epoxy or screw in a couple of CF sticks to hold in the middle and have the stock strap hold down the right side of the battery.

I would buy these:

http://www.teamassociated.com/news/l..._Slipper_Pad_/

Run one of them on the front side of the slipper, and the other two from the kit in the bucket.
