Get the Blitz nuts Part# 103908 from the Blitz manual. They are serrated on the wheel side to lock them in

I use the Traxxas serrated aluminum lock nuts that came on the Slash 4wd Platinum Edition. Since they're blue, they even match the AE aluminum parts.

especially if you are using the Pro Line wheels, since they are thicker the nylon on the stock nut doesn't hit the threads. the Traxxas nut is a bit thinner so the nylon is able to lock on the threads, and the serrated back helps alot too.

There doesn't seem to be a concensus on using the castle 1415 instead of the 1410.
I want the mamba max pro combo but you can't get it with the 1410.
Two questions:
1. The 1415 seems to fit...anyone not get it to fit?
2. What are the negatives from using it compared to the 1410?

Thanks.

Ran mine in the street/yard today, the front clicker for me seemed to "break in", the first few hard stops were quiet then I started to hear a LOUD clicking noise. Thought it was the belt skipping but then I tightened the clicker down a little more and that fixed it.

FYI, my shock piston screws all had Loctite on them but you have to pull them out to check...

Anybody know if a Novak 4.5/550 running a Reedy 5000/40C pack will make a 10 min. main on an 1/8th scale track, geared 13/62..?

Default First time out with the Sc10 4x4

First time out with the 4x4. Great build and very fun to drive. Now I just need more track time with it to get it dialed in

Take off the belt, take off the front, remove the servo mount screws, turn the servo so you can get to the ball allen head on the servo horn. Fix and replace.

Got a gearing question for you all.

I'm running the castle 3800, same motor I ran in my jammin geared 16/46 for around 38mph. In order to get the same top speed I need to run a 17 on the SC10.

I haven't heard of anyone running that size pinion w/ the 3800.

Anyone running 17t w/ the 3800?

Here's a gearing chart a friend of mine made.
