I plan to stick with the slipper as well.

I will try your design, Wild Cherry. I'm getting the pushrod from the link above. I will post a photo once I try it.

I ground down the trans brace mount just bit to keep it even , hardest part is you will have to remove the ft clip & servo to install a lock nut under the ft stud...

best of luck

I have to tear the front down anyway to replace the servo. Now is the time to do it for me.

will need a lock nut under the ft stud to help keep it tight & strong.

ft stud = screw holding the ft brace

This screw will need a lock nut ...

So you installed it prior to installation of the front plate correct. This works OK for me.

I think I order the longer rods. Looks like there is enough room I hope. The spec I read is 137mm End-to-End. That may be a 125mm rod itself.

[QUOTE=MantisWorx;9880053]you dont want the tall ones, they make the truck handle horrible.

Mantis,,

I went from 5000 nano-tech saddles to IP 6000 packs, the 6000mah packs are about 6mm taller, and heavier, run in the same place at the front, the truck did seem harder to drive after that, I put it down to track conditions, we run on a large outdoor bumpy loose track here.

I'm very interested in your findings.

Cheers
Ross.

I think there is'nt much difference between the two , but the slipper seems to keep the pull a bit more predictable ....

Ok thanks for all the replies. So basically I attached it on the top of the rear gear box and front gear box with a screw and locknut on both the screws? Is everyone using shock ends on the end of the brace?
