Marcus: that's why I stick with my AE, small changes can be seen by lap times :)

I agree about the 'no pin': My truck just with garodisk rear hd front has as much forward drive as my SCTE and a tiny consistent drivetrain protecting slip. I only lose time to the Losi if I am not perfect but I think trying toe-in will help solve that

 Kind of feels better at first but was hard for me to be consistant with lap times wise.

Did a little thread on the chassis brace. Take a look. Hopefully this will answer some questions.

To bad AE just doesnt make a one pease chassie for the SC10 4X4 for the people that want one and this would help in the flex I think. Or maybe make it a FT peace and a one peace belt tunnal. What yall think or am I just being dumb lol :D

Alright, anyone running extra weight on their truck other than whats needed to balance it left to right?

Exotek chassis thoughts?

Hey guys, do you think by running the exotek aluminum chassis that it would help with the chassis flex where a chassis brace may not be needed? Or is it that we need the brace because of the design of the belt tunnel that flexes? LMK what you guys think :tire:

That is a good question. Is the exotek chassis in 3 different peices or one hole chassis? I would think if its one peice it would help with the chassis flex.

The chassis isn't the problem. It's the belt tunnels.

I run saddles. With a 540, truck weighs about perfect without ballast, except I can't get it to not thermal with enough gear to be racy. So, to fix that, I ran a 550, and to get it to balance I had to add 130 grams (100 opposite the motor, 30 in between the battery and the servo).

If you count the extra heft that is the 550 motor, it's like 220 grams total. Truck is faster and easier to drive with the weight and the 550 on a low bite dry slick track.
