BTW love the basket works killer with my discs especially on high bite;) my mill is small and only has 11" of X travel so i cant machine a brace long enough without making it in two pcs which i dont want to do. But it looks like im going to have to come up with something!

You have me beat. I have 4" in Y, and around 8.5" in X. I machined a 12th scale body plug for a friend,,, I had to do it in four pieces at around 10 hours per piece.

Last picture shows the width. if you notice the right side shows more of the rear hub then left side. right side is hazard, left side is rulux.

Boy...

Those rims look ASTONISHING.

And so does you paint job, but ;)

Got second in the A main first time out. Paint was barely dry on the body, mostly box stock setup.

I twice however had an issue with the belt in just two qualifiers and a main. The belt appears to be getting stuck primarily in the front, between the tension and gear. Any fix for this? Tighten it up another spot?

Overall, probably the vehicle that has best fit my driving style to date, very impressed with a little setup work.

Add tension to the front pulley and relieve a notch on the rear... That should help.

I had my front pulleyt skipping under hard braking, and doing that not only removed the skipping, but gave more bite to the front drivetrain (it was skipping aswell on throttle floorings)

MY SPUR GEAR IS MELTING I HAVE A SIDEWINDER SCT WITH A LECTRON PRO 2C BATTERY HELP!!!!!!!!!

FRONTI3R 09-10-2011 02:18 PM

I had that happen. It was due to the slipper being too loose.

Then go buy yourself a new spur, then pay closer attention to how tight your slipper is. It melted because it was too loose.

JEFFs SC10 09-10-2011 03:21 PM

having major belt slip problems and pushing, even with the clicker on.

anybody got any ideas.

very frustrating.

ITS ME DAVID 09-10-2011 03:28 PM

If belt is skipping it's either too much brake %, front tenshioner too loose on belt or belt is already stretched.

JEFFs SC10 09-10-2011 03:31 PM

It seemed like when I put the tensioners all the way down , it made the problem worse.

guess I'll change the belt . (again)

Artikbot 09-10-2011 03:33 PM

Wait, don't. Yet.

Check the pulleys for wear.

symmetricon 09-10-2011 04:12 PM

It is odd how some are having belt issues while others are not:weird:
I have been running mine for three months and have never had my belt come off. And trust me when I say I crash, and crash hard on multiple tracks with big jumps.
