They do seem to wear out, thr brass needs to be steal. I have seen the diff cases made out of hard anodized aluminum, I think hot racing makes them. Somebody with more money than I needs to try them out and report back

Jconcepts Hazard

Last picture shows the width. if you notice the right side shows more of the rear hub then left side. right side is hazard, left side is rulux.

Got my new slipper pads (as well as shock pistons) in today from Mantis...

I haven't had a chance to really test out the Mantis slipper pads at the track to see how they perform, I will hopefully get to tomorrow or no later then Sunday at the track. I will try to put at least 5+ packs into it in one day and see how they hold up then. The clutch basket works great and is far better then just using the stock setup, but I want to see how these new pads hold up and I will post my review after some good test runs around the track etc.........

My motor/esc setup is:

Tekin RX8 with Tekin Pro4 4000kv motor, and gearing at 14/62 (may try 15/62 or 16/60 etc)

Interesting, I too just started having this gear issue since I put the 3800 in my truck with a clutch basket. I even backed off the brakes and slippers. I stripped another right before I left the track. I think the 3800 has tremendous braking power, this and a very grippy slipper system certainly seem suspect to me.

Chassis flex,,, you haven't built a chassis brace yet? Me neither. Maybe once I get a comfortable pile of clutch baskets made.

you sound like me, i can never catch up on inventory!!! BTW love the basket works killer with my discs especially on high bite my mill is small and only has 11" of X travel so i cant machine a brace long enough without making it in two pcs which i dont want to do. But it looks like im going to have to come up with something!

Are you kidding? I still dress like that. Well, sans the parachute pants. I'd love to score some Zubaz pants, those were pimp.
