I run a 540 and RSPro. Receiver in the box moved to the front of the chassis. I had to add 1oz to the outside nerfbar to balance the chassis. It was that or a bunch of weight in the chassis which was crazy amount. The farther out you can put the weight the less you will need to ballance the chassis.

I loosened up the rear slipper nut considerably where I think the nut is about flush. The spur gear is still very tight to turn. I want to know if this is normal and will break in so to speak. I have two SC10 4X4's, but the other one was bought as a roller, so this is my first build on this platform. Any advice?

ps: I have been in RC for a "while" uhhhh, in fact I have two RC8T's and AE instructions on that at least tells you what "bag" corresponds with the area you are dumping the parts out for. These instructions are very....crappy? It is a awesome bit of engineering though!

Dont know if this has allready been answered but you may have done what i did and put the bearing washer on backwards(looks like a large thrust washer.

anyone got any recent experiences using the clicker and your opinions on it?

i like the clicker im able to still get good breaking performance and still enter a turn just as hard with the added amount of steering while breaking. And im on pace with the fast guys at my track with a slower motor. havent finished worse than a third with two wins in four races :)

These are the weights from the original configuration with 550. This includes the Rx box and the ESC tray. (They weigh 1.2oz together with bolts.) you can see that even with a 550 this truck is very right side heavy.

Thanks Jimmy, that is a pretty hefty difference from side to side. Hmm.. I may try adding some weight to the left side before changing the layout.

Anybody know where i can get info on if i should use 1 or 2 capacitors on rs pro with tekin 5.5 550 can in my sc10 4x4? Also, any idea on gearing? Driving at hotrod hobbies or west coast raceway. Trying to get this set up correctly. Thanks!

Go to the Tekin thread or send Randy Pike a pm, he's on here! Or call Tekin. I'd probably put two on, it couldn't hurt. Bigger buffer.

Probably a little overkill but I got a 7940 hitec in mine. Servo works great in my 8th scale so I figured it would do the job here.

Im running a jr hvs9100. Its STUPID fast and 230I in oz of torque. Haven't had a hiccup.

Stock and the DE Racing wheels are the ones that work properly. You can use SCTE wheels but they are flimsey. :)

SCTE wheels make the truck a little narrower also.
