Johnny-RC: good info. how was pitch control with the center diff versus the VTS Slipper?

Got pics of your vehicle as well as a setup you are using?

thanks for posting your setup.

There are some sections that are not complete, can you fill those in?

How do you feel its handling for you right now? Any areas you wise to improve?

I have the exotek locked front clutch in my truck, and like it alot, especially for outdoor tracks with low traction. Just makes the truck very predictable and consistent, and allows very easy tail control for power drifting corners. I didn't experience the front tire ballooning like some people claim, but I'm not a point and shoot, mash the throttle type of driver.

I was at my local hobby shop yesterday and I spotted a T-Bone Racing front bumper so I bought it being mind was trashed any how.

There products are awesome, the front bumper is made of 100% black delrin and come with the mounting hardware. Another thing I really like is that it opens up the front end so it's easier to work on.

Raced it Saturday at MRCR and it was on fire! It drives so much more predictable then the VTS ever did. I have to get used to being able to push the truck and driver more aggressively now as it will take more now. Breaking is phenomenal as I expected but the truck is just so much more fun to drive now all around which I didn't think would happen to be honest.

I was able to put the truck into a 19 second lap on the current layout today which I have not been able to do all season. In fact I was 3 seconds away from being on an 18 lap pace in quals (until I crashed) which I have never been anywhere close to this before.

I was turning fast laps even when the track was under-watered and fairly loose during one qual. Normally I dislike running the truck when the track is not watered just right but today it did not effect me as much.

I pre-ordered this truck the day it was available on A-Main. I have had this truck since the first day it came out. I have raced it VERY regularly since then. No product has made such a drastic difference as the RCShox CDiff.

I was skeptical for a long time, even when a local racer bought one I wasn't a believer. That all has changed.

nice!

I take it you didn't have any issues clearing jumps etc with the Center Diff properly setup correct?

Are you looking to plant the rear end more when conditions are more loose? If so, give the M2C Rear Toe in block a look.

Is this your track?

I have one on my RC8.2e and its great. I don't need one yet for my SC10 4x4 but these are great bumper upgrades.

And lifetime warranty, take a pic of the broken part, email it to T-Bone and a new parts in the mail. T-Bone rocks.

I'm also running a Hobbywing 120A SCT waterproof ESC with a Toro 4000KV motor. I will upgrade to the Novak Havoc pro esc and Novak 550 ballistic 4.5T motor. I need a little more speed.

IMO going from the HW ESC to the Novak is a downgrade.
If you want more speed, pick up the HW 3656sd 4700, that motor is as fast as you could need. $90 and your done.

You know it! That combo is one of the best I've ever owned.
