Thanks Cain. Any recommendations on a longer bolt or a better solution to make sure the block doesn't get loose?

Are the holes stripped?

I never had a backout problem with any bolts on the car to be honest.

In general if I find that a hole is getting stripped, you could try a few things, one I liked in a pinch was threading the screw in with alittle bit of tissue paper around it to give it a bit more bite. You coudl do this with shoe goo too from what I have heard.

Check the bearings? This thing eats outer front bearings for lunch if you don't maintain then regularly.

Tons of esc install pics in this thread. I'm assuming saddle pack configuration.
What esc? RX8? For that one which is taller than most esc's people have mounted it on the passenger side and cut a relief up into the belt tunnel or taken some of the fan housing off the RX8 to get it to fit.

I'm thinking it is my bearings they are showing a little sign of surface rust . I ran a pack through it earlier and a wheel would randomly lock up so I'm thinkIng I
Need to replace bearings . What is some preventive maintence I could do to further the life time of bearings .

Every other day of driving pull the bearings out. Slip your exacto blade under the edge of the rubber seal and lift up to remove seal on both sides.
Use motor spray or whatever gnarly cleaner to get them cleaned out. Put bearing oil in, press seals back in place and install.

Rpm bearing blaster is a nice tool to use but not necessary.

At this point, start with fresh bearings. Avid revolutions for a buck a piece.

Installing a few upgrades tonight. One was the Ceramic Nitride bearings. Comparing the bearings side by side, There is a noticeable difference. The ceramic have a smooth roll to them and less resistance. I probably wont feel a difference driving it, but maybe the theory of using less energy will play a part. :D
Doing some long over due RC SHOX upgrades too.

Edit:
Ha! Bearings not balls
Note to those who have the C-Diff and were thinking ceramic balls though.

I asked Marcus about ceramics, he said don't bother they will slip too much and will not perform as well.

But you have them, might as well try them. Worse case you swap back to the metal balls.

If a bearing is bad you will know because of the slop involved with a blow bearing ..

Make sure to ck drive train with out a pinion on the motor ...

Will tell you if its a bearing or maybe in your case the wrong screw on the gear cases...
