I called tekin they said the rs pro will work. they said to use a bigger capacitor and it will work fine. my other ? was about the servo. I have used savox in my 2wd sc10 and they have worked great . I have seen other people use the jr z9100s and I thought it would be great for this biuld. I just dont know if I will have to use a bec ? or if a diff servo would work better.

Gee thanks lol, I'm just curious because my first kit build was the rc18t2/b2 and that thing had major belt issues, so I just wanna make sure I did it right on this one......

For anyone that has theirs built already can you post a close up video on what it sounds like when you throttle it, this is only my 3rd kit I've ever built so I wanted to make sure I did mine right, I'll try and take a video of mine asap, but my cell phone died and its charging and I can't find my freaking video camera......

As long as it isn't binding, rolls pretty smoothly and the belt tension is set right. You should be good to go.

i thought I'd check and see if there was a build thread and glad i found this, this is what I'm finding, the servo install, pre darn cool how they did that, but the rest up to bag D, not happy at all, pre built gear diffs are crunchy, case halfs don't fit together and have gaps. tighten the case screws and it binds. guess it'll go on the shelf until the updated parts are released or 4x4 .1 is released. of course i didn't read the previous 19 pages, is there something in there i need to know or is it all fan boy stuff.

Oh another question ;-)

Those running 550 motors, what did you have to do to get the darn things to fit? I can't seem to get my castle 2400kv motor to fit without possibly dremeling down some of the side chassis....

Get your hammer out! Just like the sc102x4 you can't torque down the diff case or it will bind the gear. Good luck!

Don't overtighten the case screws, this will cause it to bind. Well pull the diff apart and inspect it and put diff fluid of your choice in. This really is a great truck.

I don't have a lenth but my savox fits just fine!
And there is plenty of extra wire:)

I'm overall not too pleased with the truck so far, mines to the bumper bag in Assy.

Front top shaft was VISABLY bent out of the bag, my kit is missing the slipper hub bushing, the front steering arms hit the controll arms while turning, and the directions had some mistakes, truck will be beefy for sure tho, the ball ends are beef, as are the arms.

We will se how it handles and I'll reserve my judgement until then, but so far I'm iffy...

and got one from you.

Make sure you e mail me any time you get SCTE parts or SC10 4x4 parts

Call AE CS tell them what happened and they will take care of you instantly.
AE will not stand for customers having problems with their kits. They are
probably the best CS R/C car company out there, if not their darn close to
the best.

Give them a call, you won't be sorry... (do not email them) pick up the
phone....
