7-20 worked good for me last meeting with the VTS, but it will be my last meeting with the truck, got a good deal on a fully tricked out Losi, to good to pass up, and to be honest I'm sick of reading all the PS on this thread anyway, some of you guys need to grow up and stop wasting your time replying to silly comments.

I'm off to the SCTE thread

5/5 C-Diff.
Good indoor & out 4 me. For outdoor I pretty much just chance roll center, ride height and if the buggys have torn the track up I go up 5wt in shock oil. Pull a couple pins if I need more oversteer.

Think you should not mess with the timing Vito .

Leave it alone because you will
only risk motor failure for a little extra top speed .......

Good luck with the losi.I've drove 3 of them and none impressed me,feels like driving a led sled around the track.Got my sc10 pretty well dialed in but I still don't like working on it.

i asked this same question about timimg on my 550 and everybody said leave it, not needed.
if it has no tork maybe try turning the motor can DOWN to get more low end tork? might loose a bit of top speed, but might not. this should not raise temps.

ps i run 20k front and 7k rear - vts

my sc10 can cut ender any losi on my tight track. I raced friday night and was seeing that my truck is nearly dialed, if i was a better driver the truck could take me all the way.

What pinion are you running? I started with a 12t/62t and it was not very good. Once I moved up to 13t and then 14t it was much better. Temps were just fine for me. In fact on a big 8th scale track I was cooler with the 14t. Am thinking of going to 15t to see if the temps are OK for 10 minutes. I am running two Reedy 4000mAH 65c Shorty batteries is parallel with great success.

I love the Ballistic 4.5t with Novak Havoc Pro-SC X-Drive in my SC10 4x4.

From what I know about timing you lose a bit of torque and gain top speed so it will have less balls.

On your 4x4? Avid doesn't list the AE SC10 4x4 as being compatible?
