I don't know any experience outdoor racers who don't have vent holes on the outside & inside of the tire & rim.....

What kind of run times you guys getting with the 1410? I'm running it with a mamba monster and I'm only getting 14 min with a 40c 2s geared 13t 32p? My buddies running a a rs with the 550 4.5 and he gets close to double my run time, 25 min I'd say. Truck has no binding and motor is coming off at 155~

vented slipper:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...lipper-Hub-Set

High torque slipper pad:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...pper-Pad-Set-2

go halfs with a buddy as you get two of each item and only need one each

the vented slipper replaces the outside/rear one as does the high torque slipper pad, outside/rear one.

I'd say 14 minutes is fine. I ran 6 minute heats with an LRP 5.5 550 motor and was putting around 2400 mah back in a 5000 mah pack after each race. I'm calling BS on your buddies 25 minute runtime at least at race speeds

With 1410 combo, gearing 16/62, lipo 2S 5000 mah 35C, I have around 20 minutes.
Maybe your gearing is toonshort or belt too tight and what s your battery capacity

I would be happy with 14 minutes out of a 4.5 550...

Drove mine around on the street today and wow! I was using the stock tires on protrac wheels and I had a hard time getting it to roll BUT there was a lot of lean going on so I imagine on something sticky it will be different story..

I'm running a novak HV 4.5 and a havok pro esc I'm starting with a 12t pinion aster some serious 30ft S curve ovals, hard braking, and rapid starts my temps were decent, ambient temp 90° road temp 115° esc temp 120° and motor 130°.

Can't wait to get some track time now.

Is anybody else having noise from the motor/ spur gear? I take the spur off and spin the belt and gearbox by hand and everything feels smooth but when i put everything back together I have a terrible noise. I guess I will have to take the vehichle apart and go through everything again.

Got my 4x4 back together. It turns out you have you to use a 2.5mm screw for a Hitec Servo, not the 3 mm.

Now for the good stuff, I ran it in front of my house, holy crap does this thing have explosive acceleration!!

Fookin awesome!!!! I can't wait to practice this on a track.

Can someone tell me EXACTLY what parts to get from my lhs to build the sway bars?

I dont have a vice to bend the wire so how would I know how much to bend?

<<<< super happy now.

I got my new SC10 4w wheels today from DE Racing. The are a ton stiffer than the Losi wheel. Pictures show the Losi wheel vs the new AE wheel. They have about 1mm a wheel wider off-set too them to than the Losi wheel. They make them in Black, White, Silver, and soon Yellow. I run black because they are faster.
