Here is the setup that fixed the push I had. I would like to thank everyone who offered suggestions to help me out. There are some great folks on here and the improvement in my truck reflects their knowledge.

I went to the blue springs in front, removed the yellows. In the back I switched the lower arm mount to the inside. I also went up on the center diff from 5 pins to 7. Truck is the best it has ever been and my lap times reflected it!

I'm working on Building my ft right now. I just found that one of my hinge pins was 4mm longer than the other. I had to cut to size with my dremmel. Anybody else come across this issue?

Mine is apart right now and I checked. .1mm difference between the two...

Hey guys, I posted yesterday about a clicking that I thought was the rear diff. It just seems to do it for a second at a time under hard acceleration. I used 6mm of up limiters on the shocks from the build. I've only ran this truck for about 1 hour. It wasn't clicking originally. Today I pulled the rear diff apart to find everything in mint condition. No visible wear or damage. Question one--Should I shim under the sun gear with the 3mm shims that I have or should I use 5mm under each? I've read that AE is sending out 5mm shims to address any diff issues? I asked this yesterday and didn't get a reply...Question two--After I re-assemble and I believe I'll still have this issue, what else could the issue be? I've played with the slipper and the belt tension and had no luck...Thanks for any insight.

Jay.

sounds like you just cut down your front hinge pin...

the front IS 4mm longer then the rear.

7 pins for what kind of grip?

I ran 4 today on a low-med grip.

sounds like someone needs some new motor screws and some better tools if the motor keeps shifting

How did your radio break and you were still able to run in the mains?

Steering wheel broke, thankfully one of the people who works at the track had an extra parts radio so I took it off of that.

Drove my truck again for the first time in 2 months.

Running Coyote style except for:

- I switched out the Blue-fronts with White-fronts in the rear.
- Switched out Yellows for the Blues in the front.

The truck changed alot. I feel like I lost push which was great, but It's still not Cameron's or WC's truck from the videos. But I need to go to daves is really what it's down to. And drive what I see and see if I can duplicate it. I'm driving in a shithole right now so it's really hard to compare tuning from bench night to bench night.

I have all the parts for the 8mm mod but i'm going to hold off until I have the truck back under my control before I bolt that on and start playing.

Yea,
I had a brand new pack of hinge pins.
2 were smaller, the other 2 were slightly bigger.
