you put a thunder tiger radio into an SC104x4? A quick search at

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Ace+RC+Cougar+PS3I+manual

for your radio model number, and "manual" found this:

Is there advantage to running STRC pulley?

Durability. I've gone thru 2 fronts and a rear AE plastic pulleys. No issues since I switched to the Strc alum ones.

I see at least one major problem that will prevent Vito from running his truck.

Here's a hint....one connector is black, the other one is red....

So I've ran into some other problems during the build. First, for some reason my rear turnbuckles are rubbing against my rear springs of the shocks?? Every time they compress you can hear the TB getting caught in the spring. Any suggestions on that? 2nd my spur gear seems to be rubing on the bottom part of the inner piece of the slipper case that connects to the motor mount. When I put the clutch together and tighten dwn the sliper nut to manual standards, it is very hard to rotate the wheels / shaft? I dk what I'm doing wrong here. Thanx for any advice.

12-13 you gotta check your temp after 5 min. I ran a 12 with a LRP 4.5 and 62 spur came off around 160'ish.

For those of you that updated your center chassis to the Exotek, did you go up in spring and or shock fluid wt to accommodate the additional weight?

I went from AE 30wt front/27.5 rear to 35wt front/30wt rear but the Losi blend so it's a tad lighter.

Yeah, not sure who makes the black connector, but the prong that I can see on the red wire is 90* off what the deans red wire side is.
So plugging the battery will probably end up in a esc smoke show reminiscent to a Motley Crue concert.

Also, Vito... get your sensor wire away from the power wires. The sensor wire usually does not like to be in contact with the power wires.

NOOOO! google failed me.... sort of. AE failed. Check the manual for the RTR...it says look in the manual for your radio system.... it took search for XP3-SS on RC10's site, and then checking every link until there was one that had a link to the manual....

You should have a physical copy of this manual in the box with your truck...

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca...dio_manual.pdf

Nice that AE doesn't include this in the related links for the RTR...

Oh, and given that the manual is EXACTLY the same as the Thunder Tiger one, just rebranded with AE all over it, tells me that AE doesn't actually make the radio gear...kind of like how losi uses Spektrum stuff. The info you need is still on page 7
