Thanks Cameron and Mantis. I should have mentioned that I'm running the Blue sway bar in the front and rear. I will try a bigger one up front and add the spacers. I'm not running an exotech chassis either. Stocker for me. So I'll pick up a set of Green and White ones.

Definitely go yellow bar or (2.2) in front. I run the orange bar (1.8) out back.

Make sure you up a little weight in oil too.

Alright guys I have a friend that is interested in getting involved in the hobby so I have suggested he start out with the SCT Pro 4 class. I figured that with the recent release of the Factory Team kit someone may have a nice Team kit they would sell at a good price. I really don't think he would see the benefit of a FT kit to start out. If anyone has a nice truck they would like to part with please let me know.

I can obviously order him a new kit at my cost so please be realistic when pricing used kits.

I can't say much about how they work in an SC10..But I can say how they worked in an SCTE..funny Cameron..I picked up 3 seconds a lap by going back to the stock pistons on my Losi..personally I think that they gave me the wrong pistons (to small of a diameter)..but Marcus insists he sent the correct
ones..so to me this means they don't work..plus I've talked to others that have Losi SCTE's and their shock pistons are larger than the ones that were sent to me..so to me Marcus doesn't stand behind his product..

Dont really remember the situation but my pistons are all smaller than factory pistons and they are also slightly oval all for a specific reason. At any rate V2's are out now, if you want to send yours back i will replace them with a new set for free.

Sounds like Marcus is stepping up. I would give the v2's a second chance.

Take him up on the upgrade. I know the fast Losi trucks at my track have a heaver damping feel to them than my truck, but the Losi is heaver and has to control more weight too. With the V2 pistons you can run heaver weight oil by design over the v1 pistons. My personal truck did work better with them and I know more have purchased them because of it. I droped my oil weight by 5 front and rear with the v2 pistons over the stock pistons. Maybe start there and see how your times compair.

The ft kit has all the options that the regular kit needs. Those options were developed out of this thread believe it or not.

Get the FT kit, go with saddle batteries, a good radio, and RX8/Pro4 combo. Invest in a few sets of tires. (I like ProLine)

Then when he is ready to go to the next level, he an upgrade it with rcshox stuff.

Definitely, the Losi is a good truck as is, this will make it even better. Free upgrade is hard to pass up.

Marcus is a one man operation so give him some slack. He's not a large manufacturer, he makes all the components himself, bags them, ships them, fills out orders, responds on here and somehow has time to race, etc
