Every one I've ever seen did that out of the box.

If I need to loosen up the slipper I can, but as it is there's only one thread showing.
If you slip it enough where it won't wheelie, it's so loose and builds so much heat it will start to fade after 2 or 3 minutes, and then you will likely have trouble jumping anything.

Welcome to the party!

I 'was' trying to help. Like the guys are saying, there's some stubborn going on.
I'll chill.

He hasn't, and won't. Because it's a problem with "all" of our trucks. (even though it isn't.)

...I don't even know how to help now without being a butthole. I really do wish you luck, Rylo. Call AE and you can argue with them about it. They will send you some replacement parts which are the same exact part, but not 'broken' like we've been trying to help you with. Replace a couple parts and you'll see why you're getting these responses.

This Thread Promises.

Keep it tight, and put some Expo in your throttle, Or learn really quick some feather throttle control

Default Clutch basket / top shaft issues

Hi guys, *I was previously using high torque pads from a 2wd I think, the smaller ones. Those were black and glossy. So, I decided to change the pads w the sc10 4x4 pads.

Now, I've installed the wider pads and there seems to be no adjustability when I put everything together w the nut flush like before w no issues. feels like all four wheels are binding now and I've replaced two rear top shafts due to stripping the treading because of trying to figure out WTF is wrong. I'm using three pads total. *Anyone have this issue? Sooo frustraded..

I'm running the triple garodisc/basket thing.

I'll just leave it where it is.

Well, I only have one thread showing, so I don't have a whole lot of room to go, lol.

First race with it is this weekend, hasn't seen a track yet.

[QUOTE=F_ME;10227644]I measured the front width with stock wheels/tires at 288mm. ROAR legal width is 297mm. The JC Hazard wheels have a 3mm offset and widen the extremely narrow stance of the SC10 4x4. I understand the Blitz wheels have a 4.5mm offset and will fit the SC10 4x4. Anyone running these and how do you like them?[/QUOT

Jconcepts hazard wheels are 3mm wider per side which gives you a total of 6mm. hazard wheels have the widest offset to my knowledge.

Run one garodisc on the outside. You can leave the basket there just take out the extra disc and center slipper plate. Think of the clutch basket as a heat sink for the slipper now.

You will have more than enough bite with one garodisc and have more adjustment threads on the shaft.

I think he was playin'.

I drove enough 2wd mod buggy that throttle control isn't a problem.

Turning down the brake power to just below where the belt would skip solved the belt skipping issue and still gave me excellen braking as I previously stated. I have come up short on a quad at my track multiple times, stabbed the nose, and have not had the belt come off. None the less, I bought a chassis brace to keep the belt slack in check.

If you are having issues with your belt coming off after adjusting your brake power, I suggest again that you have something wrong with your truck. Maybe something is bent, out of alingment, or your belt tension pulley bearing is wasted. Just some ideas but what you describe is not normal. I have never experienced any issues with the belt coming off even under severe nose stabs at full race speeds.
Thanks for the ideas to check. That is another solution to turn down the EPA on the brakes. But I prefer to have full braking power. The brakes on my RTR dont lock on pavement or grippy surface even on full. It just pulls up pretty fast.
