I think you should get the ack bar, truck jumps beautifully. That track looks fun, but has some weird spots, like the jump into the tight left turn. Just work on your lines, are their holes cut in your body?

You definitely proved the truck is durable!

another vote on are you running the right tire?

The way your truck gets around the track is the exact reason im thinking (just thinking at this point) of switching over and trying a Losi. If you don't down side every jump it bounces on a flat landing. The back end comes around on you very easy, and you can't grab a hand full of throttle until you're half way down the straight for fear of looping out.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE my SC10 4x4, it's fast and very precise. I do quite well with it. Im just not sure it totally suits my driving style. My local indoor track is BIG, and FAST, and there's no real tight sections. At this point the Losi's just seem to have an edge on that type of layout.

AE SC10 8.2 4x4 anyone lol? THAT would be a nasty truck to have

John, how are you able to do wheelies like that with the center dif? I question that because the rear is not planted at all and neither should happen with the center dif it looks like a pinned setup to me had inot looked at your sig. and you actually were able to spin it around on the straight, i cant even make my truck do that. Only explanation would be kit tires!! It jumps very good though Why dont you post your setup and tire choice, something is off a little......

Im not running saddle packs or any of that hightech set ups just looking to see the full potential of how it was designed to run from factory. Im going to run some weight to offset the heavy side which it needs. I just need to invest in 4 light scales to weigh the truck on.
Yea it looked good for stock. The next upgrade I would buy would be the SADDLE PACK CONVERSION it is the best upgrade for this truck. I didnt beleive it made that big of a difference until I switched!

ok your right on some points but listen, im running the wrong diff fluid front and rear, and this is a work in progress. I just installed ball diff and truck is a monster now and i need to do some mods to fluid to pull from the front instead of push in the rear which is giving the rear end around effect. Keep in mind this is damn near a 2.6hp 2000w motor installed in it. It will be hard to put all power down right at the moment. Beware competition. Im commin for ya!! Also truck is bottoming out because this is an 1/8 scale track. If this where a real life scenario its like jumping a real truck off a 2 story building!! Its just not gonna be pretty. Truck has no option but to bottom out and kick out. Where talkin 10 feet plus off the ground. video is deceiving.

Lets be fair and compair apples to apples. I wanna see your truck on his big track jumping high like he was and flat landing. The track your running on I would leave my truck totally stock. your jumps are tiny compared to his.

I have your dual stage pistons and your garodiscs, Iv'e added weight. ect...
Don't get me wrong it's a great truck and very capable in the right hands. Like I said I do quite well with it. I'm just not sure it suits my driving style and my local track. I'm still up in the air...

I promise you, Mark. It can beat anything on any track in anyone's hands. It just requires more work than say; a Losi would.(/example)

If you want the more planted dead steer feeling, get the Ackbar.
If you want untold power negating a center diff of any kind. (decoupled,rcshox centerdiff) then pin it and tear holes in the track
If you want balance, saddles.
~~~~more
Everything effects this truck, and that's why I love it.
I think you 'can' get it driving into your 'style' but it will require some work, for sure.
Edited: too broad of a statement.
You must not have the best setup if you cannot grab the throttle without the back end washing out. I do think though, this truck is ment more for "smooth" driving people. If you like to grab a handfull of the throttle alot then this car will be hard to drive for you. If you come from a 8 scale (or anyone ealse) then the losi I would think is better suited for them.
Also he said he was not setup right for that track and is currently working on a setup.
FYI: You could buy the Exotek chassis!
I have added weight. I had my father take stainless steel and make me a plate that I drilled holes and counter bored so I could bolt it to the bottom of the chassis. A stock Losi weighs 6.75 lbs. My truck is coming in at 6.8lbs on the scale. 7.2 lbs with body on. It's plenty heavy trust me. To be honest the weight was the best thing I did to the truck.
I'm not done messing with my setup yet. I really don't want to get rid of the truck. I like AE much more then Losi. I think the build quality is better.
I drive a RC8T. You would have to pry that truck from my cold dead hands to make me get rid of that truck lol.
