I see. thanks. That would be one hell of a road trip from Michigan but it might be worth it for that track !

FYI, 3rd shipment just arrived at rpphobby.com. I ordered one earlier today and it shipped via FEDEX within an hour. Awesome.

Maybe I misunderstood what he asked.
2s on 20t is fine. 3s on 20t isn't because of heat. Its been said before....the 1415 on 2s is a straight dog! yeah if you gear it high it will go faster on 2s but why wd you wanna do that when the 1410 is a rocket on 2s. Been running the combo since the day the SCTE was released. Tested 20T, 18T, and 16t all on 3s. I'm a basher so i don't use 2s.... Only used 2s with the 20t once because my 2s batteries aren't great and were swelling. Like Salad said Use -the 2400 the way it was designed(on 3s)

THANK YOU! +1!

I dont know I ran 3s w/ 20t and was in the 160 range all day...it was cooler outside though. I guess I have been lucky with both motors, no heat issues whatsoever with either regardless of what battery or pinion. Now that I say that I'll burn something up...lol

I like the 1410 for indoor, but have to say the 1415 on bigger tracks outdoors is better for me.

1410 on RX8 is good but on MMP I couldn't gear high enough for the top end I needed without pushing the MMP to it's heat limits. I run tight indoor with one 40ft straight, not enough air flow I guess. Depends on how hot it is in your area. With RX8 and ballistic 5.5 with 17t temps are 130/130 after a 2s 5600 60c TrakPower. Loving it!!! Threw the 1410 in one of the parts bin's! The 1410 ran amazing in my ultra light hyper, but not this beast!
I might try it again after I lighten the truck over the next couple weeks.
